I find it interesting how when he is given glasses, THAT WILL FIT HIM AND HE DOESNāT HAVE TO ADJUST CONSTANTLY, Kuro stomps on them and continues using glasses that keep falling off. So youāre manipulative, murderous, and stupid. Like dude how can you not have gotten annoyed by that; I get annoyed adjusting my sunglasses I rarely wear. I donāt even wear glasses and I can tell that would gey annoying and would take the ones gifted specifically so they stay on my face.

Iām not blind or need glasses or anything but I find the trope of when a character acts as if the word āseeā or saying āseeā in context of āunderstand/got itā is a wrong move when talking to a blind person. Like I get humans can make mistakes on whether something is a wrong move or not but itās still dumb with how obvious the difference between seeing as in using your eyes and seeing as in understanding whatās being said or happening, so why act as if you canāt use the second meaning with a blind person.
As usual ATLA proves superior with the blinds jokes about Toph actually being jokes and actually being funny, because the humor and word play makes sense.
I didnāt even make this post with Toph in mind Iāve just been reminded of the trope I mentioned and had to see if anyone else is annoyed by it. Like it just seems dumb.

See an actually funny blind joke. And thanks for confirming that this trope is just dumb. I hope it becomes less use in modern media.
I love how when Spy x Family contrasts the Forgers with their secrets in art and intro stuff, like when all the bodies are on the floor when they are at the table trying to hide them, you have Anya simply looking at them or at the signs or their spy/assasin work as a way to show her telepathy because they canāt show mind reading in art clearly but to show Anya knowing the secrets gets the point across well.
You guys get what Iām talking about right.

Been a while since I found a site to read One Piece for free. So here are some stuff from chapter one. Iām not going to review each chapter but chapter one of One Piece feels special enough to other some random thoughts.
First this hilarious scene where Luffy is pointing like āsee told you he just likes to be mean to meā
Then after the mountain bandit dude comes in bragging like Shanks didnāt surpass him in his teens; we have Luffy implying to have hid behind Shanks when the scary man came near and almost getting hit with glass. Luckily heās fine.
Then we have Shanks more or less saying he is going to kill the bandit dude and take his bounty.
I love how Shanks says he was wondering why Luffy wasnāt there to greet them when they docked so they went looking for him. Just a nice little idea. And who was going to tell me Makino use to have short hair when Luffy was a kid. Also thereās a scene where Higuma(bandit dude) says heās going to sell Luffy to a freak show and hey; Luffy will make his own and they are going to all be friends and not let anyone insult them; on a serious note the implications that Luffy was a considered odd/freakish for his rubber body is interesting considering his crew is all made of people who have been mistreated for who they are some way or another, or in Brooks case are definitely not normal.
We talk about Hiccup having unexplored trauma from the Red Death but what about the others? What about the entirety of the rest of Berk? What about the all-consuming guilt some of them must feel for the part they played in the war against dragons?
That RTTE episode where Fishlegs is distraught because his ancestors almost wiped out the Dramillions - why doesnāt he feel like that every single day, thinking about how many dragons his own parents must have killed? How many he mightāve killed if Hiccup hadnāt changed things.
Yeah that episode was interesting because why act as if it was surprising that Fishlegās ancestors killed dragons when thatās kinda Berks thing before Hiccup met Toothless. Like Hiccup not killing dragons was treated as odd and killing dragons is something all normal Vikings did.
Percy jackson would NOT take drugs (including alcohol) that's out of character, especially when there's a better and more in character reason to have him vulnerable and honest (wounded and delirious after battle)

How did I not process that Percy smells alcohol on Mr. D and thatās the start of their whole deal. Imagine someone asking why Mr. D and Percy donāt get along and Percy explains gabe and Mr. D is personally offended about the bad name these people are giving to alcohol. āI made it to help people have fun not be jerksāļøā I mean a deityās domain is something they are protective over right.

Canāt believe itās been over a year since Iāve been on ao3. So glad I started writing my random Batman related free writes on there.
I feel like we need to talk about the aftermath of the Eden interview questions scene in Spy x Family more. Because what do you mean Loid/Twilight not only had to divert his punch to hit swan because swan insulted Yor and made Anya cry, but also after DESTROYING A TABLE WITH SAID PUNCH, he walked out with his family and said that if thatās what Edenās like to his daughter he was wrong to want her to go there. Like it might have been to keep up the act of a loving father, but imagine the part him that was about to deliver a killing punch accompanying his wifeās killing blow to the man that made Anya cry, the part of him that hates the sound of children crying, being the kernel of truth he used for that lie.
He flat out rejected Eden basically. Eden, the school extremely important to the mission, the one he HAS to infiltrate.
Ares is the oldest of the godly sons of Zeus (that are Olympians) while Hephastus is the youngest; and they are also the only sons of Hera, in fact I remember that a version of Hephastusā story is Hera conceiving him on her own; so they can also be ONLY sons of Hera; zeus only fathers Ares.
That just makes Ares having an affair of the heart with Aphrodite; I love them together and I will call an affair of the heart because thatās what I thought cheating on a spouse you donāt actually love with the person you do love is called up until a moment ago when I looked the phrase up, but Hephastus deserves something good; that much more interesting. Because while yes Aphrodite not wanting to be with Hephastus and loving Ares is fine, Hephastus is basically a punch-monkey for most of his known myths; and him and Ares being the oldest and youngest, while also being Heraās only kids just makes the drama have a narrative intrigue a that a smarter person can explain but you guys get it right.
Iām just glad that from what we know Hephastus and Aphrodite divorced and Hephastus got remarried.
Just realized Maddie throwing the fire extinguisher during the dragon games was actually smart because using it normally might have resulted in the foam missing the flames or running out, but using it as a projectile would result in causing problems for the dragon and is less likely to miss.
Iām not saying Maddie is some secret mastermind; Iām just saying that this was probably the better option.
I love Stratt wearing an āI put the ace in spaceā shirt because ā¦ yeah, she did do that. She gets to cope however she wants ok; so what if itās having a shirt thatās a dark joke.
