Oh good lord someone please help him. He cannot for the life of him behave, he's about 1,000 times more irretable (which is saying something) and he'll snap much quicker when Sylvain rolls around making a joke about picking up girls. (It reminds Felix that he fell for someone and it ticks him off)

He'll try being a little more curt with his crush in an ill-fated attempt to smother those feelings to dust but when it doesn't work, he does his best to simply ignore the feelings. He believes he doesn't have time for romance and that it's a waste of his time but over time, he'll grow more open to them.

Granted I don’t hate Ash or anything, I think she’s an absolute sweet pea.

It’s just tiring that I think we’ve gotten a female companion for like… every weapon type in the game now if you count Veronica.

Though maybe that means book seven will finally break the mold a little?

Intsys is very clear pn the demographic it wants to pander to so I genuinely wouldn't expect any change lmao. While I think having a male book companion would be nice, I think the biggest issue with them is the personality they give them.

Fjorm,Eir qnd Peony just don't really have much personality. For me Fjorm is the worst contender, but as much as I like Eir I have to admit she didn't do much in her book, although standing up to an abusive parent is pretty badass. She also gets really cool deep conversations in forging bonds which is nice but her general personality is just kinda flat.

Peony literally did nothing of note for the entire book except be happy go lucky But she also has the self awareness that it didn't matter who was the "real" Sharena which honestly I didn't expect and greatly appreciated, but a little character development at the end doesn't do much.
