followers...
So if there are any of you that actually enjoyed my blog and participation in this site... sorry I have been gone for the last, ever. I had to stop getting in this site for my mental health. But maybe can turn this around, make it more healing than harmful. Key me know what you think... or not whatever is fine.

yikes iāve been reading up on the anti-recovery tag (saw a post abt it & got curious) and apparently a lot of people see recovery as their mental illness beingĀ āremovedā & thatās why theyāre against it, like theyāve found an identity within their illness or they say mental illness isnāt inherently bad (which is true,) but like i donāt think anyone who actually knows what recovery is like or any mental health professional would agree with the mentality that by recovering or by being in recovery, someone is activelyĀ ācuringā orĀ āremovingā their mental illness, and i think that thought process in and of itself is pretty harmful
I know people on this site are often accused of being anti-recovery, but sometimes people are just tired. I'veĀ been trying to recover for almost a decade and my mental health is getting worse, to expect people to constantly fight is unrealistic.Ā And to see other people with mental illnessesĀ push this narrative that mentally ill people just donāt want to get better is kinda depressing.Ā

even when my mental health is in the actual trash im gonna keep romanticising the shit out of recovery. i wanna fucking get better !! and its a good concept, a good thing to keep working at ! and even if its just hard some days i want to encourage it just as a norm, the new good trend !! i hope everyone gets better, feels better, takes care of themselves and each other,,, and thats the soup of the dayĀ
itās radical!!!!
Hey guys! Iāve decided to not delete this account and instead turn it into one based around my recovery! The reason Iām posting this selfie is because 1. It boosts my self confidence and 2. This outfit was a huge milestone for me! The reason this outfit is so important is because I finally had the confidence to wear it. If you guys didnāt know, when you first start to recover, you get this thing that I call ārecovery stomachā because your body isnāt used to eating a normal amount of food. So basically, your stomach bloats a lottt and a large percentage of the fat that you gain goes directly to your stomach to protect your internal organs. I donāt know if you guys knew that, but I sure didnāt! To hide this, I basically lived in leggings and loose tshirts because that was all I was comfortable being seen in. Yesterday was the first day since recovery that I wore something this skin tight because my ārecovery stomachā was beginning to diminish. Not gonna lie, it was hard and I didnāt feel confident at first, but as the day went on, my confidence went up and I felt a lot better about myself. I was also weighed yesterday and Iām SO CLOSE to a healthy weight. Iām just 0.7 lbs away! I am so fortunate to have such an amazing support system that has helped me with this rough journey. So anyways, here is a lovely selfie of me, haha, not really. Feel free to message me at any time, I am here for you! I hope you all have a great day! š
Xx Belle
When self care becomes hard, that is when it can be most important! I know it can be brutal, but please try your best to power through and do those things your body needs. Make sure to drink enough water, get some food, and take a nice shower if you need it.

Recovery Thoughts: Day 291 of 362
Recovery is a process; it takes time. Building a house takes a hell of a lot longer than knocking one down. Breaking your arm takes a fraction of a second, but healing it requires months in a cast.Ā Recovery takes a lot of work and a lot of time, but the only way to get better is to keep going. Youāve got this.
So Iām not kidding when I give āwrite down good thingsā as advice. Hereās some of my latest bits.
