miss the times when art community was fun. you sit on deviantart and create pixel icons for your blog, sending to a lot of artists a request with art trades or collabs. making a lot of weird groups and species just for fun. it was easy to find. now most of what i see are comms
i wish to recreate this a lot.. like, to make a fun website where artists can manage their folders with art and manage lores with characters. or just a discord server with these things. just to reunite and give a lot of warmness and amazing opportunities to create art
This is something I hear about a lot. I got online pretty late, so it’s kind of sad seeing people talk about how cool and broad the internet was, compared to my own experiences of it feeling kind of empty and lonely. It’s that weird melancholic fomo I get when I read about old internet drama or defunct websites. Hope something new comes around soon.
