Well get your Bug net ready, because the newest alpha update has gifted us with an early WIP of the bug catching system!

This feature was unlocked during the kickstarter, and has now been implemented in Alpha! You can purchase a net at the Beach Shack, and explore the island to find all kinds of critters! Bug type will vary depending on time, location, and season, and different bugs will require different strategies to catch.

Outfit your new kitchen to try out the brand new cooking feature!

You can cook to a recipe, or mix and match to try and create your own. Though do be careful- not every combination you try will work out!

Try it out and see if you can collect all 10 utensils!

Because you can now upgrade your house! Head over to the carpenter’s shop to expand your cottage and add a kitchen. There you will be able to try out all kinds of recipes (and eventually experiment to create your own!)

To properly outfit this new addition, you’ll need to do some shopping! Check the Coral Shopping channel on your TV to find out what's for sale, and head to the newly renovated Socket & Pan to make a purchase.

New alpha is here, and with it many beautiful new building exteriors and interiors.

First up is Jim's House, where Jim lives with his children (Lily and Theo). It’s beautiful and vibrant exterior is full of Bonsais, growing strong thanks to Lily’s dedicated care.

The Community Center has also been opened up, and it has all kinds of goodies inside! You’ll find a Yoga room, the White Flamingo clothing store, the town hall, a library, and an animal shelter. While the animal shelter's and clothing store's features are NOT ready for Alpha yet, there’s still plenty to explore inside. Here’s a quick peek at the animal shelter- but can’t show any more without spoilers!

When it’s ready, the animal shelter is where you'll go to adopt a pet. (and if you managed to grab a pet tier from the Kickstarter, you’ll meet your new companion here too!)

Last but not least, one of the storefronts has gotten a makeover!

Inside, you'll find two new locations- Socket & Pan, where you’ll place orders for kitchen goods, and the Salon, where Emily and Erika work. The Salon’s features aren’t quite ready yet, but wow is it chic!

Added features include bug catching, house upgrades, a new shop, a cooking mechanic, updated buildings, added dialogue and relationship levels, and much more!
