What a great way to get out of doing the dishes, took a few pictures and then thought to experiment with lighting, but I needed the light to be just right and not drop the camera in the water so my husband Ru took time out of his day to hold the torch under the water with me saying "left a bit, bit more, bit more, stop, now don't move" click click click Tip 1 - Cooling the water down in this situation helps to prevent a steamed up lens! Tip 2 - Don't drop your camera in the water!

Spending time with family and friends in a beautiful environment, eating, drinking, chatting, laughing, taking pictures, exploring, being creative and having fun, this is what matters, our time together, how and where we spend it, treasured memories gone by and moments yet to come. Today I am who I am, someday I will be who I will be, but in the meantime family and friends stand by me on the paths I choose and I love them for it.

Abstracted sunrise caused by condensation droplets forming on the inside of my bedroom window, in winter. I wanted to take the shot on the Winter Solstice last year by the coast, an auspicious day indeed, I waited some time but the sky was so full of clouds, the sun it seemed was not coming out to put his hat on. You know you don’t always have to go on an adventure to capture a moment, sometimes it’s just staring you in the face every day and is just waiting for you to notice.
