Praetor Alexander Marius Taurinus, in artificer power armor, with jump pack, archaeotech pistol, and paragon blade.
For smaller points games when Saturnine Terminator armor and a terminator command squad is overkill.
One last reblog to get more eyes on him, I think he turned out alright given how unenthused I was when I started.

I just love the MkIII Assault Marines. Looking proper like a V8 HEMI strapped on the back, leaving trails like coal runners!
Things I haven't done in a while - actively layer-painting miniatures! It doesn't look too bad.. ☺️
I'm really pleased with the leathers but the cape needs work. It's a bit tricky to get a proper picture of it but it does have color variations! 😅
All colors bar the metals and washes are Vallejo Game and I really like them! They finish in a reeeaaally nice matte/fine chalky look, which got shot to pieces by the Citadel washes

Some group shots of the Light Cruisers of Battlefleet Agripinaa as they gather for the fleet muster.
The Light Cruiser element of the Battlefleet comprises of:
2x Dauntless Class with Lances
2x Dauntless Class with Torpedoes
1x Barracuda Class
1x Barracuda Class with Torpedos
Together, they make up a large portion of Battlefleet Agripinaa’s heavy firepower combined with manoeuvrability and fast attack capabilities, and as such are a vital component of the fleet and its ability to defend the Sector from Chaos and Xenos threats.
These were all such a joy to paint and I’m really pleased with how they look together. More pictures of the fleet to come soon!

If I'd known that the Darkoath vs. Skaven Match yesterday turned out to be a Darkoath vs. Skaven and a Cog Fort I might've tweaked my list a bit.. When you expect a wet towel fight and someone brings a 6x4 - it's tricky!
Managed only a 45-47pts win by boxing them in with my 30 Fellriders for long enough to have my second wave of Marauders, Savagers and Brands Oathbound hit just in the right moment and scoring secondaries on the way.
I had no minis left right at the end of T5.. 🫠
But it was a moderately fun game ☺️
Made good use of the holiday today..
I'm off to throw some dice now - but not for the Fort.. It's not ready to play yet

The King's Stones are done 😊
Quite pleased with them, as they have rather little horizontal'ish surface to put snow on, really. So I had to try and get as much on the sloped bits as possible while keeping the literal balance of snow sticking on and falling off..
For that I tried to add some piles of slipped off snow 😁
