Not gonna lie, this is probably my best miniature to date. I had a plan for the OSL shining from the bottom of the spider, and I think I executed it pretty well! It's always a good sign when you have to keep doing double-takes to see if it's actually an LED in the miniature you just painted. I got so excited about the OSL that I almost forgot the touches of gold on the tops of the legs and front of the carapace.

They've got a ways to go but I'm already really happy with how they're looking! Since I've had these models one of the painting ideas I've had for them was just "Really Big Goblins" so I wanted them to be green with yellow bellies!

Getting the right shade of orange/red is super important, this is going to be the color for all my squigs, banners, armor details, and topknots for my Orc army.

I'm working on the 5 Flesh Eaters I just printed out, and from the bases to the models themselves, I'm doing a FAR better job of painting them. I've updated my techniques across the board, and now I'm going to have 5 that look okay and 5 that look awesome. What do you do about this problem??

Finished up my contemptor dreadnought. Reasonably pleased with the result- not my absolute best work, but respectable. Particularly happy with the gold of the chest eagle.

Finished up my apothecaries except for enamel weathering, and got a start on my Ultramarines specific contemptor dreadnought. Will finish him up and then do the weathering on all three; it's not really worth the hassle of breaking out the pigments and mineral spirits unless I'm doing more than a couple little bases.
