Kappa in her fox form is curled up sleeping in her little cave cuddling a wooden doll

*Slowly, in the darkness, a soft mix of lilac and green swirled through the wood of the doll. It clicked, and twitched, before a shadowy coating brought the little fox doll back to life.*

*The wooden fox jumped up, sitting on top of Kappa and watching her sleep.*

She sits up smiling

I've been doing a little research. Nosing around, checking out libraries. And I found a book that mentioned you. At least, I think it was you.

She tilts her head ears twitching not understanding most of the words you’ve said
