11. Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn't? Why? Chuck. I don't think I have to explain why the fandom doesn't like him, and I agree and acknowledge that he did shit that was not ok. However, I sort of connect with him? I've dealt with acute disability, and honestly seeing a character with a situation vaguely similar to mine is really cool, even if his situation was more a psychological one. Also the swapping numbers thing Jimmy did was genuinely so cruel that I can't bring myself to hate Chuck for how he retaliated... id be mad as f too.... 22: Popular character you hate? Honestly any characters I hate are just... not popular characters, and that's if your definition of hate is loose. I wouldn't say I hate any characters really. That being said sometimes I really want to punch Saul. 23: Unpopular character you love? Marco and Leonel.... I love them.... the twins......... I'd say Tuco too but idk if I'd consider him unpopular, though I can't find a lot of people who are fans of him. There is a distinct lack of fan content of any of them. Pretty messed up. I must work harder to right this wrong. (Also sorry if the formatting is weird lol I still don't really know how to use this site.)

sorry but that one post I reblogged has me all up in arms over Nacho's motivations again cause like

it's just such a shame how much fandom completely missed the point of his character and his daddy issues when they filled the gaps with a stereotypical "dirt poor immigrant childhood" backstory.

Manuel Varga isn't poor. Nacho never found any unpaid bills on his father's desk, y'all just made that up in your minds. Manuel lives a humble, earnest life as the owner of a small business that seems to be running reasonably well. the problem Nacho has with this is not that he's poor. what pisses Nacho off is that his father is satisfied with this.

because here's the thing: Nacho is not. Nacho is never satisfied. no matter how much money he earns, he thinks he deserves more. because he's prideful, he's arrogant and he thinks he's the smartest person in the room. and THAT is what ends up biting him in the ass. cause when he realizes that he's in too deep and has to make decisions that even he cannot reasonably reconcile with his conscience, it's too late.
