Hello! My name is Jelena and long story short, my gf transgirlnausicaa and I will be homeless by May if we don’t get an apartment. I am currently hired for two part time positions and am in the process of being hired for a third, full time position, that would allow me to make enough money for rent for an apartment in Seattle.
We are both mentally disabled and have anxiety problems, where I myself have to be medicated daily to subdue my panic attacks. We are also both trans; I myself nonbinary, while my gf is a trans woman.
Thinking about and stressing over this upcoming event has made me in a constant state of panic, all day, every day, and I didn’t know how to reach out to tumblr for help until now. There is no way I can handle working 3 jobs and not having a place to live.
Unfortunately, I cannot produce a full check in time to lease before school’s out in May, and most places ask for first and last months rent upfront. The best places to be near both of our schools and my work locations are between 900-1200$ a month.
When I start my full time job, I’ll be able to pay my rent no problem, the issue is that right now I cannot produce that, let alone twice that, to a leasing office in time before ending up on the street. This means I need to produce roughly 3000$ (two rents, security deposit, and food/moving costs) by late April/early May.
I have about 71$ right now, from a part time check, and another check should be coming in soon at roughly 400$.
This means i need to raise at least 2500$ in less than a month.
I regret not making this post earlier.
