I noticed it was blackout day once again! Coming to you as your favorite concert photographer, I just wanted to show off some of the shots I got last month at the Broccoli City Festival in Washington, D.C.

As a shooter for the third year in a row, this was still nothing but an incredible experience. I TOOK AMAZING PICTURES OF SOLANGE AND I STILL CANT BELIEVE IT.

I declared 2016 the year of the comeup and I definitely can say it paid off. I shot so much, learned so much, networked so much, and just became a much better photographer.

The first half of 2017 has been a pretty busy one, especially since I became a home owner in March (at the age of 23 I might add ☺️) 🎊🎉✨. But I was starting to feel like I was falling off because of how busy I became. However, for the past two months, I’ve been making moves. I’m marking the rest of the year as #KEEPWORKING2017. Where I grow my confidence, where I let people know of my skills, where I take advantage of opportunities that will help me grow and say no to ones that will hinder or stunt my progress.

I love what I do and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

I figure this is a PERFECT time to bring this back in rotation.

We all graduated with Latin honors! My fellow colleague in the middle graduated with a cumulative 4.0 GPA in biology! The epitome of Summa Cum Laude.

I got to shoot some of my favorite artists last month at the Broccoli City Festival in Washington, D.C. This was such an incredible experience.

I’ve been shooting for a couple of years now and I declared 2016 the year of the comeup. The year where I take my photgraphy a lot more serious. The year where I start searching for opportunities and taking advantage of them. And it’s really happening.

It’s surreal. It’s scary. But I love what I do and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
