when dan said phil was nice it wasn’t even like him having a low bar because the way phil is and always has been nice with dan is such a deep thing because he’ll call him a bitch lovingly but from the very beginning he has let dan be himself after a lifetime of not feeling like he could and he laughs at his jokes and does word puzzles with him when he can’t get out of bed and he is trustworthy despite loving a harmless lie. he’s also just generally kind in this world. phil being kind is something special and all encompassing and so so important.

harry's energy in that interview felt so young, like it felt like an X factor era interview. normally it annoys me if an interview is too gimmicky but this was so fun in comparison to most of the other interviews he's done in the last 5 ish years. the fandom, particularly those who are also directioners, is so built on his personality as well as his music, and I think it is so important that we can see some of his personality in order to care more about the music and how it relates to his life. tldr: royal court interview was amazing.
