        “––––having to alter yourself to obtain an ass doesn’t count.                                   what’s an ass worth if it only lasts a moment?”

            Oh no.                      And in an instant, he’s back to his true form; painfully so, to boot.

                 “They all want to know my secret!”

   “I find the sentiment mutual.” All For One purred with ease, his twisted grin only growing in it’s demonic Cheshire state. Even for a blind man, he could sense the ripple of rage, hatred and anger rolling off the younger like waves. It was positively amusing. Especially knowing even now behind a cell that he could still pull such emotions out of the blonde. 

“Tsk, tsk. Still spitting vile upon my name. Have you yet to grow old of your hatred towards me? Or does the image of your beloved teacher being obliterated by my hands never dull the seething rage you have for me~” Te ancient villain’s mocking was cold and calculated, knowing full well how easily it was to torment him. Even behind a glass wall, he could still inflict his enemy with pain. 

“Ah, but you aren’t here to be reminded of your failures. No…let me guess. You’ve come hoping to seek knowledge on my young ward and his League. I’d hate to disappoint you really my boy, but I’m afraid you won’t get a word from me~” The sarcasm was ever evident in his tone.

“But come, lets not waste time talking about my boy…lets talk about yours~” All For One purred darkly, tilting his head to the side like a curious hellhound, watching Yagi with a sightless gaze.

“Izuku Midoriya wasn’t it? Such a charming young child….such a pitty he’s doom to die such a horrible death~”

             The mention of his former master causes his heart to TWIST, the taste of bile in the back of his throat prominent at the memory.  He remembered that day so clearly, the nightmares he had even more vivid.  She was like a mother to him --- she was all he had.  And this monster, he took it all from him with a smile on his face.  

                 But his student’s name snaps him back to the present.              

                          The name of his student leaving the monster’s lips caused his blood to run cold.  He’d felt enough guilt as it was, having pushed his blood-stained past onto him.  He hadn’t wanted this at all.  He’d assumed All For One to be DEAD and long gone when he passed his legacy down to young Midoriya. 

                          He saw a true hero in him --- he wanted to give him a chance.  But this?  Never this.  Never did he want him to have to fight such a monstrosity as the demon that sat before him in the cell where he rotted.  He didn’t deserve such mercy -- not after everything he’d done. 

                              “---He will not die!  I’ll make sure of that, All For One.” words are bitten sharply, icy blue eyes piercing through the glass with a hateful look only this BEAST could provoke.  

           YOU WON’T LAY A FINGER ON HIM.

                                He knew how to get under his skin.  He had to stay calm.  Even in such a place as Tartarus, locked up as he was, he felt terror run through him.  

                            “The only one dying here will be you.  Your protege will NOT succeed.”
