Witchhunts primarily hunted people who were not self proportedly witches, but rather, people who were convenient to hunt.
The communist's hunt against the nazi menace has amounted to primarily violating liberals, conservatives, apathists, and even progressives and radical factions themselves.
McCarthyism was not successful at defeating communists. Communist epistemology was publically funded as 'conflict theory' before, during, and after McCarthyism. People were paid by the government to teach people to be communists (as "science") WHILE it was (unconstitutionally) illegal to be a communist. This McCarthy movement is literally what produced SDS, WUO, ThePeoplesTemple, BPP's popularity, patriarchy theory, and 60s radicalism in the first place. These communist organizations were a controlled opposition, used by Nixon -an ally to communist autocrat Mao ZeDong- to create the War on Drugs, where the state could arrest any citizen by planting false evidence on them. They were put in prison for the stated purpose of drugs, but it was revealed by a Nixon admin that it was deliberately to imprison people who stood in Nixons way and wouldnt vote for him. In prison, they were used for profit to take wage-growing jobs away from the free people, and use underpaid prison labor to save money for shareholders.
Bush's father, HW Bush, worked directly for Nixon and Mao ZeDong, as the president of the USLO Trade Office to Beijing (basically to relocate 60000 factories full of american jobs over to china where companies did not have to pay workers nor respect their self ownership in any way). Bush created the 'War on Terror', which, like the 'War on Drugs', amounted in practice to being a war by the government against the civilian. The US government admitted in federal court that they have prevented ZERO acts of terror by usuing the powers granted to them by The PATRIOT Act. They merely used The PATRIOT Act to perform espionage on american citizens, for god only knows what government-comitted crimes or how many. And Joe Biden voted to pass The PATRIOT Act. Same team.
This is why they scapegoated Trump for all their own sins. He tried to stop violent outsource avenues established by Richard Nixon and upheld by every POTUS between Nixon and Obama, and then 2020 happened and nothing was suspicious about it. One slimeball to be scapegoated by them all. They projected the image of all their own sins onto him, painted themselves as the heros, and now his image has been slaughtered by them, and we are supposed to perceive them all as innocent, praisable heros, woth our undting loyalty, now that theyve destroyed one of their less loyal mobsters.
Absolutely fucking honeysmothered trash story theyve conducted. And they know it. And so in ten years, or twenty, it will be like Tiennamen Square in 1989 where 'nothing happened' in living memory and on video.
