Choosing the right leisure inverter generator?

So your clothes are packed, the kids are packed, the husband or wife is packed and the motor-home is loaded. And you are almost ready for the summer holidays, however.. you still cant decide on the leisure generator which would be best for you.

The answer - It depends what your going to be using it for & home much weight you can spare.. There are various different power ratings, for instance in our Ultra Lightweight series we have a choice of two a 1.2kw and a 2kw. How much power do you need? Well it really depends. Typically a average house needs 3kw -5kw in peak times. But when you take into consideration you probably have your fridge, cooker, 2-3 lights, 1 lamp, x2 tv's, x1 phone or ipod charging and a Laptop or Computer all running at home on a evening, you probably wont even have a quarter of those things on when your in your motorhome. Typically 2kw is suitable for a motorhome, that in comparison is a pair of hair straighteners, mobile phone charging, x2 lights on and a television in operation. Our Ultra lightweight series is ideal for Motorhomes, as the weight is for our 1.2kw is only 15kg, that means you wont have to worry about those stressful weight limits. The generator comes with battery leads so you can charge the battery or keep it topped up directly. Its pure sine wave power ensures you have extra protection when plugging in your laptop or mobile phone.  We recommend both our ISG1200i and IGS2000i for various applications, however we feel the lightweight design and pure safe power ensures it is ideal for leisure applications.
