Sunrise Solstice Yoga

Wow. Walking down Broadway in Times Square at 5:30 in the morning and hearing OMMM wafting through the canyons of New York City ... then seeing 1000 people doing yoga at sunrise in the middle of one of the busiest places in the world ... and then seeing the MINDBODY name all over the gargantuan screens surrounding time square. Magic. Pure magic.

An appropriate adieu to the Big Apple - the spot in Times Square that just hours ago held the space for a moment of a lifetime - flashes by in a blur through the cab window on the dash to Grand Central.

New York did it this time: It got a piece of my heart. We've never truly understood each other until this trip. But this time, flat on my back in savasana in the middle of Times Square, looking up at a perfect sky, feeling the heartbeat of the city through every cell...we merged. We came to an understanding. We connected. A small town boy and a big city have something in common after all.

In the days of snap chats and snap shots and limited characters, the depth of my experience over the last few days here - from Times Square to Billy at the Garden to timeless full circle moments with the best of friends to inspiring MINDBODY clients to the perfect shaman appearing at the perfect moment - feels impossible to capture.

So let the picture tell the story if it must. No time to stop. No time to focus. Rushing off to the next moment.

Alright, I LOVE these ladies. They are the very definition of Beauty. The vibe of this place and the love emanating from these phenomenal beings was intoxicating. I didn't want to leave and probably kept them too long and interviewed them way too late, but I just couldn't help myself. (I wish I could post some of the interview here - they are brilliant on top of everything else - but it's currently trapped on my other camera.)
