Oh she couldn't even imagine how loud it would have been at that point, but at the same time it would have been a sight to see. The ringing in her ears was thankfully dying down now, allowing her to hear Stephon's amazing voice even more clearly. She was happy that he was able to get a car so quickly considering the ridiculous amount of people that were there, though she wanted badly to give him some money towards it because the price had to have at least doubled during the game. Thanking him again for being such a gentleman the half lycan climbed in and settled into her seat. The air conditioning felt so good, and the quiet from the front seat meant the two of them could talk without being interrupted. Not that she would mind but now that they didn't have to practically shout at each other to hear what they were saying she wanted to enjoy it. "Damn that never ending mystery guy!" She joked, though now it was all she could think about. Stephon hadn't spoken of him in awhile and Kyleigh was starting to think dude had changed his mind. Huh, apparently not. Glancing up towards the screen the driver was using for his GPS she saw they weren't too far from the park, but she really didn't want to wait. "So you're really going to make me wait?" Kyleigh pouted in Stephon's direction, hoping it might get him to crack just a little.

There was a feeling Kyleigh had that at some point he was going to tease her about always stealing his shirts, but could he blame her? He smelled so good and it was much easier to sleep in them than the clothes they made for women. "You're just mad because I look better in them than you do." She joked back. Before she was roommates with Ash (and before she met him) she would sleep in almost nothing at all, and she had the feeling if she started doing that again Stephon might never properly heal from any of his matches. Knowing that she probably wouldn't be paying much attention to the TV either she simply put on one of the sports channels then put the remote back up on the dresser. Carefully she climbed back on the bed and nestled herself against his side, making sure she didn't put too much pressure against his ribs. "That's what I'm supposed to do. You didn't shack up with someone that just wants to stand on the side and enjoy all the benefits. You're my man, of course I'm going to do everything I have to in order to make sure you're okay." What kind of mate would she be if she didn't? Of course he didn't know that, but it was basically the same in the human world. Laying her head against his shoulder she rested her hand on his heart, smiling against his skin. "At least you smell a lot better now." Yes of course she had to tease him even though he always smelled good to her, covered in blood and sweat or not.

Something squirrely was going on in Stephon's mind, and it was driving Kyleigh crazy. She didn't say anything of course, not wanting to ruin the excellent mood between the two of them. But she had a feeling once the game was over their night was truly going to start. As the time began to wind down and the Knicks took total control of the game she got the feeling that the entire city was going to explode. And she was going to get to witness it all with the most amazing man she had ever met. The clock finally hit zero and just as she thought the building rocked with how loud everyone became. As tempted as she was Kyleigh held back from covering her ears and simply laughed, nodding as Stephon commented about the game. "Yeah let's head out before everyone else tries to." She said over the roar of the crowd. Grabbing her leftover cotton candy she tucked it under her arm as she began to move down the front row. It completely slipped her mind for the moment that Stephon was going to tell her what he had decided for that bet, her hand reaching back to grab his as they weaved in and out of the crowd. Kyleigh had experienced being at winning games before, but New York was definitely on a whole different level with it. "Holy shit it was loud as hell in there!" The half lycan said to Stephon once they were back outside, the cooler night air feeling amazing on her overheated skin.

Honestly she was waiting for something slick to be said to her in return, something to make her laugh and feel special at the same time. The way Stephon's mind worked fascinated Kyleigh but she had always loved intelligence and he definitely had it. Even all beat up and probably dead tired he still found ways to tease her, standing there as naked as the day he was born like it was no big deal. And of course no matter how hard she tried her eyes were drawn right to him, face bright red and her bottom lip pulled between her teeth. "Get out before I hurt you even more." She teased him with a light push towards the bedroom, only slightly embarrassed that she had been caught staring but who could blame her? Attempting to keep her thoughts out of the damn gutter Kyleigh slid down off the counter and followed him out of the bathroom with her arm linked through his just in case. "What did I just tell you!" She scolded him lightly, unable to hold back a laugh. "Get your protein shake and get in that bed mister less dangerous than before." Since he had already changed she decided to do the same, reaching in her bag to grab her shirt. Well it was one of his that she had borrowed from him the last time she spent the night with him, but she loved the way it smelled and how big it looked on her. Stripping out of almost everything she pulled the shirt on and put her clothes in a nice pile on the bathroom floor. "TV on or some music?" She asked as she sat on the bed, shaking her hair out of its ponytail.

It was so tempting to let out a growl at Stephon's answer but somehow Kyleigh managed to hold it back. He had won that bet fair and square, so whatever he did decide he wanted would have to remain a secret to her for the time being. The half time show was actually pretty decent, way different than the ones back home but she figured it would be since it was potentially the last game of the playoffs. She swore she blinked and the third quarter was over, the energy in the arena at it's highest point. It had her up on her feet multiple times, yelling along with everyone else. Celebrities began to blur in with the regular fans, all of them wanting the Knicks to win. If she didn't walk away with her voice a little bit horse she would be surprised. A couple of times she glanced over at Stephon and he was right there with her, looking so adorable that it took everything she had not to just grab him and ruin their friendship. When a time out was called she finally sat back down, taking a sip of her own drink as well. "No I actually haven't. I've only been to New York once before, and it was upstate so I missed all of this. I've heard it's nice though." Upstate New York had such great hunting spots that her and Aunt Joan often traveled down there during the winter when almost no one was around. The Winter Solstice made their species stronger and hungrier, so the local woods just simply wouldn't do. Not that she could tell Stephon that but she was a bit curious now as to why he asked about the park.

As far as relaxing went this was about as far as Kyleigh was going to go with Stephon. Not that she didn't want to, this was like one of her biggest fantasies come to life. But with him having gone through hell just an hour or two ago there was no way she would even think of pushing it any further. Besides it was nice to care for him in the way a mate should; to clean him, make sure he was fed and get him to rest. At his comment about her kisses she rolled her eyes but did chuckle, tempted to ask him just how many girls he had said that to in his life. But she knew she probably wouldn't like the answer so she just kept the thought to herself. "Well good, I'm glad I could help." Yes hearing him say that her help had him feeling better went straight to her heart, and probably that hidden part of her that loved to be praised (not something she would ever dare say out loud holy shit). When he was all done she stood up with him just in case but allowed him to steady himself without her help. "Well it's better than nothing at all so I'll take it." She teased him, sitting on the counter next to the sink and attempting to keep her eyes off his body. "You want me to wait for you out there or…?" Why she was suddenly so shy she didn't know, but it was there and she couldn't ignore no matter how much she tried.

"I mean you're okay at best." The fact that Stephon wasn't afraid to tease her right back and didn't get insulted when she threw some sass his way wasn't lost on Kyleigh. She liked it, probably a bit too much for two people who were just friends. Well she still hoped it would be more than that by the end of the night, but at least in some way she would always have him in her life. If she stayed good at work and didn't get caught when it was time to let the beast come out to play. God what if she had to tell him about that at some point? Then would he think she was weird or just batshit crazy? Before that downward spiral could start loud music began to pump through the speakers around the arena and the dancers started their routine for the halftime show. "Yeah then you can tell me what it is you want for that bet. Unless you forgot, then I have no idea what I'm talking about." She said in his ear so he could hear her. How in the hell he managed to still smell so good was beyond her, but Kyleigh was slowly beginning to fall in love with whatever cologne he was wearing. Which in her world was huge. If a potential mate didn't smell just right it wouldn't work. But of course Stephon checked that box off too. Damnit he was perfect in every fucking way, and it was driving her crazy having to sit there and pretend she didn't want to just grab his face and kiss him for the rest of the game.

Rolling her eyes, Kyleigh should have expected that kind of answer out of Stephon. Even in his half asleep, painful state he still wasn't using the head on his shoulders to think. But she laughed anyway, continuing to clean off his upper chest and moving down his arms. This time she gave him a look that told him if he didn't quit it she was going to leave him to his own devices that night. "You can barely keep your eyes open, how the hell are you going to do anything with me in there?" She teased him, ignoring her own desire to say fuck it and climb on in with him. The way he said that it felt so good wasn't helping either, the deepness in his voice, the desire in it too. Taking a deep breath the half lycan forced herself to think about something else and continued to help wash him down. "Definitely earning that most dangerous title tonight." To help tide him over she leaned towards him and gave him a soft kiss, only pulling back when she felt him trying to deepen it. "Do not make me turn the cold water on you, I swear I will do it."
