i found an earring and decided to try inducing with it and wtf my nose absolutely hates it. so i decided to do a little nose torture and only removed it to switch nostrils or blow my nose. it also got caught on my septum ring a couple times and locked it's movement completely - all in all the most sneezing i've maybe ever done.

The class is held outdoors and the wind is blowing hard. It’s hard to hear n/anami at all with his muffled voice, and he ends up resorting to removing his mask for the class. He tries to conceal his embarrassment but he can sense his nostrils flaring from time to time.

the first half of the class is not too bad. The students notice some awkward pauses where n/anami looks away (nose jammed in the crook of his elbow) anticipating but failing to let out his sneezes. His nose is a leaky faucet but he’s used to having to dab at his nose all day. He’s past that.

The second half though… goes miserably because g/ojo casually suggests n/anami to look into the sun to help coax out the itchy sensation, and as a good kohai, he does. And it helps. A lot. There’s a point during this fit that he feels as if he’s almost gasping for air.

thinking ab caretaker nan/ami but it’s HIS brand of caretaking which is so straightforward and just. getting gently manhandled by him.

he hoists you up and places those biiiiig cool dry hands to your feverish cheeks. he tilts your chin up with his index and middle finger then uses his other hand to feel the swollen glands in your neck. he slips a thumb in your mouth and presses down lightly on your bottom row of teeth so he can give you medicine when you’re too out of it to really listen. pads of his fingers prodding right below your eyes over your sinuses. a palm on your back, providing reassurance while also trying to detect congestion in your lungs. every touch is intentional and has a purpose while simultaneously providing comfort and i think i might have mental illness
