this time... our originally-scrapped G2 cones... Sandstorm and Cloudcover. Personality? What's that? I'll hand them some since they lack canon ones. I realized after drawing CC that I didn't get to draw his checker pattern and now I'm kicking myself because that's my favorite part of his design... at least Sandy let me draw one of those dumb faces on his cone.

I imagine that they're pretty socially inept losers... compared to the other Decepticons, I mean. Sandstorm is much more talkative and loud than Cloudcover due to how close he is to humans (literally hiding in plain sight on a military base (it's how he got his funky paint)). He picked up lots of human slang and mannerisms, so much that he could probably pass as a real human if he ever got a holoform. Y'know those joke white girl 2000s playlists targeted at masculine manly men? he's the target demographic. when he figures out what Minecraft is, he's gonna have a field day. On the contrary, Cloudcover is very quiet. So quiet. He walks silently, flies silently, aims and shoots his null rays silently (how? idk ask him). He kinda forgot how to talk out-loud, preferably using his wings or sign language. He's a real great... spy? He lurks.. he watches... he's also apart of a cult. so... yay for him.

I headcanon that they're both cryptids to humans, basically. Some say if you're on a plane then you'll spot a giant robot hiding in the clouds... if you wave, maybe it'll wave back. Some say that if you walk by a certain jet, you'll hear a disembodied voice...

red is Broadcast, gray is Exhaust, and purple is Airframe. i call them the Watchtower Trine. they're silly to me.

Thrust

-Trine leader

-Shortest of the three and very insecure about this fact

-Projects an overconfident façade in order to appear in control as trine leader, also brags a lot about his flying prowess

-Very protective of the trine, especially dirge (no one but Thrust is allowed to bully him)

-Constantly argues with Ramjet about his decisions

Dirge

-Tallest of the trine

-Has a very spooky way about him that scares most people who don't know him very well

-Barely talks to anyone outside the trine

-Easily panics

-Kind of shy and afraid of conflict, but he will fight when ordered to by a superior

-Used to be a singer before the war, and still enjoys to sing in private

Ramjet

-The sensible one (believe it or not)

-Often brings up valid points against Thrust's plans that turn into long arguments about how he leads

-Main fighting style is ramming his head into people

-Can be quite bossy

-Has a fondness for minicons

-Very smug when he's right

-Tends to talk in a bit of a fancy way
