There'll be a moment when you realise you're 27 when yesterday you were just 17; and you wouldn't be able to tell how a decade passed away and your life got divided into before and afters. The fury of youth will subdue and nothing will really change but everything will feel different when you look at old photographs and blurry videos taken on cheap mobile phones. Scents will remind you of childhood and certain friends you don't talk to anymore, hangouts will become reunions and mom's burnt pie will become the best food you ever had. And I know on some days you won't be able to show anything of those 10 years but I hope you remember to breathe, and let go of the knot in your chest. I hope you go out in the sun and live a little, because tomorrow is 37.

If you voted Liberal you are anti-future.

For the next three years we are going to see the continuing of; poorly funded public schools, poor quality and large expenses of our internet, people getting tax rebates even when they don't pay tax, people working on public holidays and Sundays without being properly being pay, non-permanent jobs, needing a second or even third job to stay a above the poverty line, no wage growth, growth in the cost of living, less public transport, less first home buyers, government giving cash handouts to investors, "self-funded" baby boomers that are surviving on government given franking credits, writing positive personal references for convicted pedophiles, not representing women or multi-cultism however having no problem giving hate speech and Nazis a platform and continuing to not fund or flat out deny climate change even when far more educated people have presented the science (NOT OPINION, SCIENCE) and information on how we are destroying our only liveable planet while new technology that will me cheaper, more reliable and will help slow climate change is more than ready to go.

When the young riot, and they will, remember you pushed them to do it. Don't cry when your things burn.

Straight girls who see me as their “gay friend” or who say they don’t care about sexuality but wouldn’t date a boy who’s had sex with a boy

Straight people in general who say “isn’t he really just gay” or telling girls that I’m actually gay and faking it with them

Gay people who say that because I have the option of dating a girl I’m the same as the straight people who oppress our community

Gay people who say I’ll never understand oppression or what it’s like to “actually” be gay

So there’s quite a few people not letting them!!
