The last few days I have been going through all of my blogs and attempting to make a comprehensive list of all the important things that have happened throughout the history of WishfulCrossing. Tiny catch however--The list is currently centered around my own memories of the group and events that I found important. I wasn’t here for almost a whole year, and I’m not going to have anything from chat games.
So let’s make this a group project.
Under the cut is what I have so far--If you all have anything important you’d like to add to the list, just message me on discord or here on Yu. It can be anything that has canonly happened within WC that you feel is important. (Examples: deaths, buildings being created/destroyed, events, etc)

The long long ago
Pre Opening -
Solitude was an island far away from civilization--it was home to a group of farmers who lived in peace. One of these farmers raised goats, and treated them like gods. These Goats were named Kano, Ferro, Keahi, Lorelei, and Marley.
The island was raided and the farmers were all killed. The island was taken over by the raiders who killed everything they could--but the five goats escaped. These goats, who were once treated like gods, had enough sense to plan revenge on those who hurt their owners. They kept escaping and becoming smarter and smarter.
The ruins of the island gave the goats magical powers, and using these powers, the five goats--each blessed with a different element--obtained revenge against the raiders. Instead of killing them, the goats locked them on the island. They could no longer escape or send for help. This is how the island gained the name Solitude. In the end, the raiders began to worship the goat gods.
The goats became corrupted by the power they obtained. Once a civilization was built up, the goat gods knocked it down, killing the raiders in a fit of boredom. They didn’t exactly regret that decision, but they did grow to want to be constantly worshiped...So they brought new people to the island using their powers. Many of these people lost their wills to the goats, and either became mindless worshipers (the first NPCs) or killed.
The goats continued this cycle for ages. Whenever they grew bored of the current batch of residents, they would bring in more.
2015
Jan 1, 2015 - Opening
Goats begin taking in newest set of residents.
Feb 5, 2015 - Bleating Hearts
Goats show themselves to the residents for the first time. They rain down arrows from the heavens to cause mayhem among the residents. The arrows pair up residents in a bond of love for 10 days.
Feb 11th, 2015 - Senpai Wars
Butch and Yu got into a fight over who was the better senpai. Their kouhai put up signs around the island urging people to vote for the better senpai. Yu eventually won.
Feb 26th, 2015 - Plushiepocalypse
One resident got bored and preformed a ritual to make any plush on the island become possessed by evil spirits. For a whole weekend, these creatures took over Solitude--destroying and killing anything they came across.
April 1-5th, 2015 - Breeding time
It’s breeding season for the goats, and the residents have been entrusted with the offspring of the goat gods--in egg form. Residents were paired off and each given an egg, each with a different element. The eggs hatched, and residents were forced to have the goats fight to find out who would be the newest goat god. Glacie, the ice goat, wins and becomes the sixth goat god (in training)
May 3rd, 2015 - The Ball Pit Incident
The goats granted a wish for a ballpit, which was stolen by a bunch of thieves. The ball pit was eventually recovered and it was magically welded to the ground for all to enjoy.
June 25th, 2015 - Restructuring
The goat gods had become selective of who they brought to the island, and thus began shoving everyone into apartments.
September 22, 2015 - Alpacalypse
The Alpaca gods ejected 4 of the 5(+1) goat gods out of their heavens, forcing them to live among the residents as punishment for their selfishness.
November 30th, 2015 - Popularity Contest
Lorelei, goat god of earth, wins most popular goat.
2016
February 11-17th, 2016 - Bleating Hearts v2
The alpacas continue the tradition of Bleating Hearts and spread love through arrows raining from the sky.
December 31st, 2016 - Destruction of Solitude
The goats left the island for a month and when they returned, they saw the island in ruins. The goats fight (mainly Kano and Keahi), and whatever remains of the island is destroyed.
2017
January 1st, 2017 - Creation of Isles of Solitude
The goat gods spent a long time debating on what to do upon the destruction of their island and the death of all the residents. Deciding that they no longer wanted to share, six islands were created. The residents were brought back to life with no memories of their past lives on Solitude. Also Kano and Keahi had a kid.
January 11th, 2017 - Birth of a new god
Kano and Keahi’s new child, Cupid, is born. Residents obtain memories of their lives before the destruction of Solitude.

“Dude. They’ll be fine. They’re more lethal than anything, look.” Casual pointing at the fact five cats landed on to a roaming goat kid. Rip that thing, it was bucking and screeching and running in to trees trying to get the cats off.
Even after watching the goat disappear into the trees, Yu was unfazed by it’s pain and fear. Too many years under the reign of goats. Instead, his deadpan sense of humor kicked in. “They are all precious angels and can do no wrong.”
Cats raining from the sky? Other than the fact Yu is concerned about them hitting the ground (unfounded, they have parachutes), this is the opposite of a problem. Look at all the kitties. He is about to go into overload.
‘Are they? That’s pretty cool…’ Anzo responded but his attention was aptly focused on to the cats beneath him now. He was rather entertained by how social they all seemed to be. Granted his cat shelter (aka his own backyard) had rather friendly felines as well.. Perhaps it was just the way the cats perceived him.. Who knew.
‘I kind of wish I could have brought the rest of my cats along… I lived in Las Vegas.. so there isn’t too much room there.. They would probably appreciate all this space…’ …Maybe he could consult with one of the ‘Gods’ that brought him here, and ask to bring the rest of his cats here too.. ‘…So are you the only other volunteer here? Or are there others? Cause this place still seems pretty rundown… ..I could help with repairs from time to time if you need it..’
Out of all the place names Yu had heard in his time on Solitude, ‘Las Vegas’ was one of the first familiar ones. Though at the thought of former homes, he wondered how his cats back in Inaba were doing. His uncle and cousin were probably taking care of them...hopefully.
“It’s mostly just me and Blossom. So there’s just two of us.” Yu practically lived here though, where Blossom actually lived a semi-normal life away from the cats. “I don’t have any useful powers like some of the others around here and there’s always the issue of funding.” Yu gave a small smile. “But more help would always be nice.”
Maybe they really could finish this place eventually...

‘Um yeah.. .. sure I’ll play with them.’ As Anzo responded, his own cat mewled from his jacket, crawling up and out to poke his head and say hello. It didn’t take very long at all for Sir Meowrco to finish climbing the rest of the way out and land on all fours, greeting the majority of the felines with a few sniffs.
‘Hope you don’t mind that I brought my own cat along..’ A quiet mutter as he finally took the cat toy in his hand and laid it on top of a few of the felines. Their playful meows as they pounced at it bringing a very gentle smile to his face.
Yu couldn’t help but grin as the new cat made it’s way out of the stranger’s jacket. It was an odd way to carry a cat around, but he had seen people do it with dogs before.
“It’s fine.” He glanced around, finding each of the cats he called his own. “Some of the cats are mine from when I had a bigger place to live.”
“They seem to like it here, though. It’s no castle but they have a lot of room.” Keeping up with all of them back in that castle was harder than keeping up with all of them here. He didn’t have to worry about them as much here as he did back then either, since his former roommates were on a completely different island.

Sometimes his way of speaking/acting doesn’t get this across but most of the time people come to him knowing he can either relate to them or will simply be there for them when they need him.

Outwardly optimistic. Canonly optimistic. However since I’ve been playing him for years, he has sometimes leaned towards pessimistic internally, but almost never externally. He always wants the people around him to do their best, and this is how he encourages them. However when it comes to himself, total lack of optimism. He believes in others but hardly ever himself.

During his time under the rule of the goats, Yu Narukami had become desensitized to a lot of things. Senseless chaos, crime, murder, death...but one of the strangest things was finding people on his living room couch eating his cereal.
Yu stood there staring at his guest for only a second before he wordlessly walked into the kitchen to continue with his day as normally as he could considering all circumstances.
Anzo may hate people. He may hate vampires. But you know one thing that he doesn’t hate? Cats. And you know what he left at home in Las Vegas? Over a hundred stray cats that lived in his petite back yard. Yes, he has his main squeeze kitty-cat with him but heck, that ain’t enough. Anzo needed his fix, his feline fix that is. And so, after seeing a flier posted up in downtown Ikaika, the short shrimp was now standing in front of the half-fixed run-down barn full of felines.
“…Hey uh.. .. I saw a flier.. .. asking for help for a uh.. .. Cat Sanctuary.. .. um.. .. I’m here.. I guess.. can I help?”
The sanctuary had made some progress and Yu seemed to be dedicating his life to this old barn. There wasn’t much else to do on these islands except slowly await the apocalypse. He could go out and make friends and enjoy all the goats have given them...but something told him the cats made better social links.
The number of cats that had gathered at the barn had increased, so his little investigation team had plenty of friends to play with. In terms of humans, however, it was just him and Blossom.
Yu wasn’t sure how far this stranger was willing to go to help, but anything could be helpful at this point--even if it was just having someone to play with the cats while Yu tried to work on finishing this place. He could at least ease this guy in and see if he stayed. “Sure.” The cat toy that Yu was previously using to play with the cats was held out to the other. “Want to play with them?”
((Hey everyone sorry for my sudden bursts of inactivity...The first one was me losing any and all form of self control and dedicating my life to Tales of Berseria. This one? My cat ran away from home and I haven’t been taking it too well. However I am hoping to sit down today and finally catch up entirely on threads and memes and everything else I’ve missed in the last...4 weeks?

That was quite some news–!! Who would have thought that the ginger-haired girl would have stumbled into the famous Yu out of nowhere like this. “Ahh! It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.” Blossom said with a grin as wide as could be. “The one that told him to believe that yuris meant love.” She was still stumbled over how that even happened.
Once the question of how she knew him, she gave a small little chuckle.. her fingers lightly scratching the back of her head. “I’m.. his girlfriend. We’ve known each other since Townsville.” Back when the RowdyRuff Boys would cause quite some trouble for her and her sisters.
The realization of Butch being someone they knew in common– that would possibly make the building.. a whole lot more easier. “I bet we can drag him along to help make this place better.”
“Yuris means love?” Yu was completely confused. The part of him that was still missing must have either done it as a joke or had given up on correcting something Butch learned on his own. “I’m sure that’s a misunderstanding...”
As much as Yu wanted to repeat the word aloud, he only let it sink in a few times in his head. Butch had a girlfriend? But weren’t Butch and Rise--No Yu. Don’t let your mind wander to the friends that aren’t here. The memories he had were from a long time ago, and maybe something happened he just couldn’t remember right now. Hopefully that would be filled with time, and it wasn’t something he felt comfortable putting on Blossom.
He decided to pass on commenting on the girlfriend part. It was just something else he would have to sort out on his own. If it was something he was meant to know, Butch would talk to him about it. Instead, his thought process went to imagining Butch being near the cats. “He would be a big help but I think he only barely tolerates cats. You haven’t heard how me and Butch met, have you?”

He always feels safe and secure when he’s with his friends–even Butch. However he is probably even more at peace when he’s with the cats. Especially his cats. The Investikitties represent a part of his life he sometimes wishes he could go back to, and watching them reminds him of his times in Inaba. He still considers his year in Inaba to be the best in his life, and anything that reminds him of that makes him happy.
😋: What’s your muse’s sense of humor like?
It’s horrible. During his adventures, Yosuke often had to explain to others that Yu was joking. He keeps a very straight face and is very deadpan with his jokes. Yosuke is usually the only person that catches on, and everyone else thinks he’s being deadly serious.
My first thought at trying to explain Yu’s sense of humor is ( this )…The whole first month of WC was the fire emblem characters trying to figure out phones and Yu was no help…at all.
He’s a lot lighter on it now, since he’s realized no one gets his jokes.

“Yu..” There was something about that name that was familiar. Where was it that she had heard it before… – Right. Her stupid bae did… say some things that always made her shake her head.
“You.. wouldn’t happen to know a guy by the name of Butch, would you?” Long shot but.. What if it was him. If it was him– she had a whole bunch of questions to ask.
With only these few exchanges they had, Blossom was already planning in her head what the next major step would have to be. This place was a dump and they were going to need a lot of help to get it going. Money.. A lot of money– Her youngest sister did seem to be able to acquire a lot of it.. easily.. Maybe she could get her to help out with this.
Why did he feel this sudden, unexplainable feeling of needing to defend himself and his life choices? Probably because most people would judge him for being friends with Butch...He had to deal with the same thing with his old group of friends. Kanji was always fun to explain.
“Yeah, I know Butch. He’s a friend.” Best friend and probably only friend, if Yu could get his memories sorted out.
Of course, Yu would defend his friends to his dying breath...but this was Butch. Hopefully he hadn’t gained fame on one of the other islands for destroying stuff again. “How do you know him?”
It had started out as a casual talk about their memories…or lack of memories.
However, when Rise came up...things slowly got more heated. Yu wasn’t one to fight with his friends, so his immediate response was to try to change the subject and calm Butch down. However with the topic staying on Rise...it didn’t work.
The shorter male flinched as he felt his back hit the wall with Butch holding him there. He knew he needed to keep his calm, otherwise this would become a fight Yu knew he couldn’t win--not without exhausting himself with attempting to summon personas.
“Butch...calm down.” Not that those words ever worked on his friend before, and would never work in the future. Always worth a shot though. “I know you miss her. I do too. However she’s not here, so you can’t keep beating yourself up over her!”
If he remembered more, he’d tell Butch about how Rise didn’t remember him, and that he needed to move on...Not that it matters cause Butch’s next action is likely punching Yu in the face
