Scarah Screams as Fem!Spock

I've never been a doll collector, but I almost jumped in after seeing this amazing Scarah Screams doll. I couldn't stop thinking about how fun it would be to customize her into Spock. Scarah already being 60s inspired only made it more enticing.

It also made me start ironing out my Fem!Spock headcanons, like:

Spock leaving her hair down and unadorned as a fuck you to Vulcan gender norms (in my heart, intricate updos and hair jewelry are all part of the feminine beauty standard, while the sleek hair/blunt bang is considered more 'handsome')

Michael was the only person Spock let style her hair, and she couldn't help but feel guilty when Michael straightens their own hair into the Vulcan style. It's the first time Spock ever considers that trying to be seen as fully Vulcan means giving up a part of your own identity.

This also means that on her first away mission to a humid/tropical planet, Spock discovers that her hair gets frizzy and wavy like her mother's. Bones thinks this is the funniest thing that has ever happened, and Jim immediately gets a nosebleed.

She tries to emulate both her parents in different ways, likely in some way hoping that this will make her feel less alienated from them both. She enjoys human makeup/perfume because it reminders her of her of watching her mother get ready in the morning.

That said, she certainly hides the sentimentality of this by just saying it is logical to acquire human makeup, as it is much more common throughout the federation.

She primarily wears the shirt/trousers uniform. Uhura convinces her to try the dress in her early efforts to seduce Jim.

Unfortunately, Jim is so aroused by the mere sight of Spock in the uniform dress that they can barely speak or look Spock in the eye, which she misunderstands as rejection.
