R.I.P.

The port’s been thrown into chaos as treasure has been found in the belly of the latest catch. Coins of an unknown land, jewels, and pearls the size of strawberries spilled out of the beast as soon as it was split. It was almost instantly a brawl, with butchers and passers by squabbling in the blood to fill their pockets before they were knocked away into the chum filled waters. A few people are dead in the commotion, and the local magistrates have been called in to sort the mess out. Most interestingly, a gilded chest bedecked with coral was seen in the thickest of the fighting, but disappeared just before the law stepped in. Swirling rumors about the chest’s contents find their way to our heroes, can they manage to find the chest and claim the haul of a lifetime before whoever has it breaks it’s antique lock?
