She smiles as she hears the snort of laughter, a small chuckle leaving her as well while she looks around the room “if you want, i can help you clean up after you’ve calmed down a bit more and cleaned yourself up a bit, because to be frank you look to be in a horrible condition right now.”

     Dove gives a laugh and        nuzzles his cheek against         Dominic’s, humming a bit.        “Says the one who did the fuckin        grandpa impression. I’m        clearly the dork here. Not        mister grandpa impression.”         He snorts and nuzzles his         father again, a small blush         spreading across his cheeks,        “I missed you a lot, daddy.”

      “’Ey, I couldn’t help t’do that one.       Ya walked right inta’ it!” Still, he       laughs in return, rolling his oddly       colored eyes at his son. The mere       thought of his son being alive,       being here, and not hating him... it       still manages to make him think       he’s dreaming. But he’s not he’s       not he’s not and he’s so glad. He       wouldn’t be able to take it if Dirk--       DOVE was a dream in the end.       He’d lose his mind. 

“Only when your in times of crisis such as that asshole Devon, brother dearest” she mutters, her insulting of Devon showing her clear distaste for the being that resided in her brother “and its really no problem, Dom. If you ever need me for anything, literally anything, just send me a message okay?”

She pauses, she wasnt sure how she could respond to that, i mean, how could she respond to the fact that by technicalities she was dying? It was a very odd thing to hear from the mouth of another and it made her pause, and hesitate in her words, though she quickly steeled herself, pushing past her shock to comfort her, her alternates brother “shh, I am sure that she will be fine Dominic, and I amost definitely sure that if she isnt, that it is not your fault in the slightest” she mutters soothingly as she continues to rub his back gently

There will be some        Serious teenage complaining if I don’t.”       He does lean into the hair ruffling, though,        smiling a bit as he kisses his dad’s cheek       something he hasnt done since he was       really small. “Kickin’ your ass next time you do,       gramps.” 

She nods along, gently rubbing his back as he clings to her “She sounds a bit like me indeed” she mutters quietly in response, continuing to hold him tightly letting him use her as a metaphorical rock for as long as he needed.
