I haven't had a new job in a long time, so I have to keep reminding myself that being bad at something new is normal and not a sign that I'm a failure as a person 🫠

Even though I'd been volunteering at the library for years, there were so many new things to learn on my first day!

My dreams never have normal bathrooms. Probably once a month I have a weird toilet dream.

When I found out I got the job mainly because I already had experience there, my partner told me, "Looks like your multi-year unpaid internship finally paid off!"

He worked really hard on his costume during quarantine times, so I'm glad he finally got to wear it somewhere it would be appreciated!

They are terrified of me even though all I do is bring them fresh water and tasty treats, so they're always getting spooked and trying to fly away. 🙄

It was an interview for a library job, so I should have been prepared to talk about what book I was reading, but it caught me by surprise!

So fun that even when I already have a lot to worry about while I'm awake, my brain will come up with pretend things to worry about in my sleep.

I didn't bother trying pinball because I know my reflexes are so slow, but it was fun being a spectator.

Pros of my unusual Android phone are that it's inexpensive and runs awesome, cons are that because it's unusual shipping takes a while.

Sometimes mindfulness is not all it's cracked up to be 🙃

I've been wanting to get back into actual painting, but digital painting is fun too (and less messy!)
