Last week, a host of gamers presented 24-hour live streams to support the Extra Life charity. This week, it’s the comedy community’s turn. Several top comedians are involved in Comedy Gives Back, a 24-hour charity event streaming live on Dailymotion.

Comedy Gives Back is a day-long event aimed at raising money for a specific charity. This year, the charity of choice is Malaria No More, whose focus you can probably guess based on its name.

Need some laughs today? Well, you're in luck, because the 24-hour Comedy Gives Back telethon has kicked off with some of your favorite funny people.

The initiative, which is raising money for Malaria No More, is being live-streamed for 24 hours onDailyMotion.com. Right now the stream is featuring comedy videos from IFC, Cracked.com, Earwolf and others. Tonight an evening of live comedy kicks off with sets from Marc Maron, Eugene Mirman, Kevin Nealon, Maria Bamford, Dane Cook, Jim Breuer, Rhys Darby and several other fantastic folks.

Malaria kills a kid a minute on this planet. I don’t know if you’ve seen how many minutes there are in a day, but it’s a lot. It’s a deadly serious disease, but now it’s got a pretty funny solution.

Starting at 10 AM ET on Wednesday, some of the funniest people on earth are streaming 24 hours of stand-up comedy to benefit Malaria No More, an organization that’s working to provide timely access to the tools of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of malaria in Africa.

Comedians in New York, Los Angeles, London and Sydney are banding together Wednesday to put a stop to malaria deaths. This preventable and curable disease is the third killer of children worldwide, according toMalaria No More, the non-profit organization to benefit from the free, global standup event Comedy Gives Back — a 24-hour digital marathon now in its second year.

Comedy Gives Back will feature acts such as Adam Hills, Eugene Mirman, Dane Cook, Marc Maron and Rhys Darby performing live in London, New York, Los Angeles and Sydney.

In total, 12 hours of stand-up will be streamed live on DailyMotion, with the other 12 hours comprising digital content from the likes of Jimmy Kimmell, Cracked.com and Comedy Bang Bang broadcast in curated blocks hosted from Hollywood.
