Come Home

“How do I come home when all his house has caused is suffering?”

‘Ellie, Come Home.’ Series

The concept of home is something I’ve always been drawn to, especially during the winter and depressive episodes. It first showed up with an actual name in my art a few weeks ago in an “album cover” I designed for my OCs, the Frogskins. But it wasn’t really use again in a personal way until I made this ceramic bowl. I suppose it’s been in my art as a concept for quite awhile, with lots of different characters and ideas in lots of different ways, this time I’m actually calling it what it is.

I’m not sure where this project will go. I’m not sure I want it to go anywhere. But regardless, come along for the ride.
