What are the 5 Best Movies you've seen in 2019 so far? No. 5 - "Us"- This movie circumvents the usual horror movie narrative while also telling a completely a story of underclass citizens in America. No. 4. - "Shazam" - A really great mix of comedy and action. No. 3 - "Alita: Battle Angel - The intro to a whole other world of cyborg intrigue. I can't wait to see more. No. 3 & 4 might actually be interchangeable. No. 2 - "Avengers: Endgame - Not your average superhero movie. The movie is filled with amazing superhero moments, but it's the acting of the first third of the movie that puts it so high on the list for me. No. 1 - "Aladdin" - While watching the movie I just kept thinking to myself. "This is magical." I loved nearly every single moment of this. movie. Special Mention to "Brightburn" and "Captive State" which are numbers 6 and 7 respectively on this list. Two great movies in their own right.
