  a majestic beast, the mizutsune. revered across the land for itâs elegance, itâs pink fins and purple fur a symbol of beauty, perhaps even love, given itâs wedding attire armor. however, it couldnât be more clear in the old or new world that beauty could be dangerous... and this member of the fated four was certainly no slouch. itâs pressurized water beams could cut through rock or flesh alike... and during mating season, those males become a real problem.
  of course, it initially seems apprehensive of yomogi. territorial, even. back arched, fins on edge, and a low hiss of a growl bubbling up from itâs bubble-spewing throat. however, a wafting scent catches itâs nostrils, and the creature almost immediately relaxes. itâs eyes lock onto the treat, placed on the ground for it to access easily. it then looks toward yomogi, if only for a second, before approaching, and nudging at the dango with itâs nose. sniffing a bit more, to âtest the watersâ so to speak.
  after aptly identifying this food as not a threat, the leviathan snaps it up, and then rears itâs head back and up to assist in swallowing. once that was done, it looks down at the young girl. then... leans down, nudging at her shoulder, as if trying to sniff for any more of the stuff on her.
  hey, at least itâs being docile. must not be mating season.
