After finding out, Sagas of Sundry: Madness is back up and beginning a rewatch, I also rediscovered Sagas of Sundry: Dread. I haven't finished it and then abandoned it halfway through while watching it like 2 years ago. I remembered, that I made a few notes while listening, because there were quite a few dates and I wanted to keep track of it. I knew said notes had to be somewhere. So I looked through all my old spiral-bound notepads and found what I was looking for.

Now I'm looking at the dates and am deeply confused as to what all of this means. I was happy, I found the notes, I'm now just puzzled and most likely watch from the begin again to understand it, even with the notes.

I have no idea if there are any sagas of sundry fans here, so idk if anyone knows what I'm talking about.

I'm still making my way through campaign 4 after taking quite a long break, because of not having time, so I'm only in episode 17.

I talked with my Mum about people shipping Occtis and Julien, and her reaction was like "yeah, understandable". Which wouldn't be so weird, if you ignore the fact, she has only seen like the last three-quarters of episode four and nothing else. Literally nothing more, and she finds this ship understandable.

I don't know if it's just me being quite oblivious to romance starting to form, but I'd say in the episodes I've watched there is not really any evidence for said ship, let alone only in episode 4.

Would someone be interested in pointing me to moments in episodes up to 17, that have said romantic tension? Just for me to analyse.

Also poor Julien and poor Occtis, I wanna give both of them a hug. (And I wanna cuddle Pin)

Some thoughts on the season 2 finale

I have a few thoughts on Eddie's character during the finale, but I have no idea if I'm doing this correctly with using tags and stuff, since it's my first post on tumblr, so please tell me if I'm doing something wrong.

The players are always joking about Eddie being beautiful, but I feel like the conversation with Gable the previous episode and the message he left painted a much darker picture. I know that they've all become monsters in their regards and even though it is suspected he is sired by a Bruhaj* because of his more violence based mindset, I think he also has this curse of being pretty and doing stuff with other people without being able to control it to deal with. (I think that's Ventrue territory, but I'm not sure) I know that he led the other group of Thin-Bloods into the sewers while knowing the risks and during that he used his powers, but when it comes to his friends, he doesn't want to use it, but so far he hasn't figured out, how to control it and it's making him scared.

I really enjoy the picture of a strong and somewhat collected character losing it and being just helpless. Even thoug he kinda is the coterie Dad, he is just as scared as the others are and is also just a small, young Thin-blood.

* I know it works a bit different for Thin-Bloods, but, at least to my knowledge, they still inherit a few characteristics/embracing Kindred search for mortals similar to them to embrace. (If I'm wrong please correct me)

I can't even focus on the larger plot implications of the offer from Katerina and Vulo right now because those one on one scenes at the end have me in a chokehold

Love Katie and Naomi having the conversation they have very much needed to have for a while now

Katie and Eddie starting to finally actually open up to each other for realsies??? Not hidden behind barbs and flirting but just straight up letting each other in (or you know, the metaphorical equivalent of opening the door while the deadbolt is still chained, no one's actually being let inside yet, but the door is open now at least)??

Eddie was dying? And then he talked about an offer being dangled in front of him for a long time, very curious about where in his timeline this happened - was this an offer to become a ghoul? Or was this an offer made while he was a ghoul to be fully turned? What was he dying of?

Yes "do you want me to destroy you?" was hot, but can we talk about how much of a banger "if you want me to [destroy you], then that means I could, because you would allow it" is? By desiring your own destruction, you enable it

Katie seems like she did a lot of reflecting just in general while being kept as a to-go snack, there have been a lot of deep and emotionally mature conversations from her tonight

Naomi and her beast have such an interesting relationship lol. Throws me back to her introduction video when she went to kiss her beast, it's so different from everyone else's relationship with theirs (but also "do you like the taste of Patrick?" had me dying)

JADE LORE CRUMBS - she apparently smashed something into the head of a man with white hair from behind and (presumably) killed him, while a woman watched horrified? My main question is if the woman is her letter friend (whose name is currently escaping me) that she mentioned before

Eddie's HELP ME message - god what a cliffhanger god damn them it's so perfect. There were so many ways I thought that message might go and that was absolutely not one of them, but boy do I love it. They're just all so messy I cannot wait for s3

I just had some thoughts while thinking about Rudolf Affaire Mayerling. The ways Drew Sarich portrays him in parts show a scared child trying to deal with the world. The mannerisms when he's on edge and literally fighting with his own head make him seem (at least in my mind) younger than he really is. I was shocked to find out, he was 31/32 during the time the musical plays. (And drew was 34, if my math is correct, so it's not that the character seems younger, because the actor is younger.)

I don't know if parts of this come from the fact, that before Rudolf I've only seen Drew in clips playing Graf von Krolock, Jesus and Judas, where the characters are much older/seem much more collected. Though thinking about it, in the performance of Judas' death in Amstetten he is also quite distressed, but in that he doesn't seem that young (and it's not, that the actor is much older while playing Judas, he is, in fact, 4 years younger). There he seems like a collected adult, who has lost control and realised he was betrayed by his best friend and the God he believed in, (I think he believed in the same God as Jesus, though I'm not so versed on biblical canon, please correct me, if I'm wrong) whereas Rudolf never really seems like a collected adult. He can play it a little bit, but when he is alone, the inner deeply hurt child comes through.
