A Little Help || Selaphiel x Dean
Angels. How could he forget how goddamn clueless they were when it came to pop-culture references? Rookie error, Dean. Rookie error.Â
With a shake of his head, the hunter ran a callous hand through brassy locks, fingers catching on his hairline as he contemplated the best way to explain a superhero to an angel. Oh, this was going to be interesting…
"He’s kinda superhuman? Juiced up on mojo- not really too different from yours. But more like ummm… Jesus! Yeah!” Clicking his fingers with a point in her direction, Dean’s face lit up as eyebrows rose. “Exactly! A hero facing an adversary. And shit- that’s probably all kinds of blasphemy to say to an angel.”
Laughter now escaped his once tight-sealed lips, Dean beginning to relax in her presence. Relax, but not let down his guard. For he couldn’t afford to be so careless.
Even though she looked about as harmless as an old lady offering up free pie, Dean knew better.
"You’ve gotta check out the movies— especially the 1978 version. Good movie, that one." Feeling his facial features shift from joy to something far more serious, Dean found himself lost once more in the problem of his brother’s life choices, utterly shocked at his uncharacteristic request for help.
"What are we gonna do? What can we do?”
"The movies, they sound interesting." Selaphiel nodded. "Yes, I'll have to watch them if I ever find the chance."
She opened her mouth to explain exactly what they would do, but no words came out. Her lips stayed parted as shoulders hunched back. The others had never told her what to do about this, and she couldn't just heal him. It wasn't just a wound or scratch. Sela could do a whole lot, but fixing Sam Winchester just was not one of those things.Â
But, of course she had to come up with something. Otherwise, any hope of talking to a kind Dean Winchester would fly out the window.Â
"Well, we...."
Quick thinking was not an asset for this angel. "We must wait it out- at least for now. This isn't a rapid recovery, I believe you know it." Selaphiel let out a tiny breath. "This could possibly be a good time to watch that movie. Am I correct?"

OOC
I'm back, bitches. Okay, none of you are bitches, but hi. Yeah, it's been a few weeks, and I apologize. My Honor's English class just about killed me because my teacher dumped a huge project on me, and I needed to focus on that.
However, now that it's done, I'm back and I should be getting to my drafts.Â

Dean looked toward her and then nodded his head, walking toward his drawers, staring at the clothes in them before digging out the smallest things that he could find, “They’re probably big, but they’re the best I have,” He said, offering the articles of clothing toward her.
Sela once again smiled, but this was more gracious. "That's fine. I just don't want to leave a trail of water where I walk." She took them, and headed out the door after a short "Thank you."
She threw the clothes on, looking in the mirror she had. He was right. Even as the smallest clothes, the sleeves still covered her hands, and the jeans bunched around her feet. Running a hand through now dry hair, Selaphiel headed down the hall, trying not to open any doors that weren't already.

Dean laid against the bed, his eyes closed, but not really sleeping. He had slept a few hours, but not long enough that he would really get any rest from it. He sighed to himself as he leaned back against the bed, his eyes open after a while, sitting up slowly, changing into actual clothes since he remembered that he had brought the girl back.
He heard the knock at his door and walked toward it, opening it up and seeing her there, “Hey. I was just about to make some breakfast,” He said toward her. After he did that, he’d have to check up on Crowley, and then he’d also have to check on Sam.
"Oh, thank you." Sela smiled. Her knuckles were white from gripping onto what she had around her. "Do you have any extra clothes?" She asked sheepishly, following up her previous comment. "I wouldn't ask if I did have some...but mine are drying."
Lights || prohevefilidevium
Dean walked into the room in silence, looking at his little brother where he was asleep on the bed. He sat down at the head of the bed, running his fingers through Sam’s hair as he watched him sleep for a few moments. Sam usually woke up only for a few hours a day.
The trials had really exhausted him, and Dean didn’t know how to fix it. He sighed softly as he stood, walking back toward his room after closing his brother’s door carefully, dragging his feet against the floor as he collapsed against the bed in exhaust.
She had no idea how long she just stayed in that position. She couldn't take it much longer, so Sela stood up and grabbed on to her muddy clothes before heading down to the bathroom she was in before. Sela waited and cleaned her clothes until it seemed as though the sun had come out.Â
They were still soaking though. She would be dripping water everywhere around the house for the whole day, and that wasn't a good idea. After hanging them over the curtain rod, she headed to Dean's room, knocking lightly. Â

Dean looked over with the words that she spoke, heading in the direction of Sam’s room once more, shrugging his shoulders, “He’s…” Dean searched for the right word to use for someone who had no idea of what was happening with his brother, “He had a rough patch, but he’s going to be better. We’re working on it,” He stated simply, shrugging his shoulders.
He looked at her as she moved, flickering his eyes way, knowing that the sheet would be moved with a simple movement, and knowing even more that she would not be wanting him to see that. He walked down the hall on his way to Sam’s room, cracking open the door and stepping inside slowly.
Sela got back to her room, shutting the door behind her. It was dark, but she could see enough to make her way over to the bed. She crawled under other sheets and blankets, trying to get warm.
She tossed herself around for a long time, trying to find some way to sleep. It wasn’t working though, and Sela found herself becoming more and more agitated as time went on. Puffing out a bit of air, she finally gave up, just laying on her back.

Probably be a good idea. [He smiles, a little sheepishly, and extends his hand.] Steve Rogers.
She looks to his hand before taking it. "I'm Sela."
—sorry, what?
Sela glanced next to her, smiling. "Nothing. Hey, would you like a cup of coffee or something?"Â
Lights || prohevefilidevium
Dean heard the shower running as he stepped from the room and smiled lightly, she had settled at least a little bit, enough to clean herself off. He heard the door open and glanced over toward her before seeing that she was only in a sheet and his eyes widened slightly, glancing away from her, “Sorry. I was just checking up on my little brother.” He said, stepping down the hall with larger steps in the direction of Sam’s room.
He had almost forgotten about her for a moment, but, well, there was no forgetting. He had allowed a random girl into their house and who really knew what was going to happen from there. He shook his head slightly.
His brother. She had yet to see him, but he would come around when he did. In truth, she really didn't want to see anyone else. Not like this. "Okay." Sela nodded, backing up against the door. "Is your brother okay?" She could heal him if he wasn't- wait, no she couldn't. Not now at least.
She bit her lip as cold air hit her skin. It was freezing here. As Sela went to move, she felt one of her feet catch in the sheet, tripping a little. Gracefulness would not be a strong suit. Steadying herself, she headed down the hall with any dignity she had left.Â

Dean had walked into his room after he had led her to the room. He sighed as he sat down on the bed, looking up toward the ceiling. He knew that Cas had fallen, but he couldn’t help it. Hey, Cas, you’re not hearing this, but we’re looking out for you. We’re going to find you and kick Metatron, who I know is listening, in the ass.
He sighed once he had finished, laying back against the bed and closing his eyes, stripping out of his coat and his pants, laying down there in only his boxers and a shirt, covering himself in the blankets, but not sleeping. He walked out of the bed after a moment, grabbing his robe, pulling it on to go and check on his little brother. He walked down the hall as quietly as he could.
Selaphiel learned very quickly that hot water felt amazing on the skin. It was almost as if it was raining hot water. She took various bottles, looking on to the back and reading the directions. Rinse hair....lather...rinse. Seemed simple enough. Then she scrubbed off  all of the dirt with her fingers, and watched the water go down the drain. Grabbing another bottle, she did as directed. Sela had to wonder how people did this every day. It seemed a little tedious. But as she stepped out, it did feel good to be...clean.Â
After wrapping the sheet back around herself, she opened the door and headed down the hall. A door opened near her, and her eyes moved to the sound. Sela froze, tightening her grip on the sheet. There went the decency. "Oh."
Lights || prohevefilidevium
Dean looked toward her as she spoke, nodding his head and leading her back toward the rooms that were empty, opening one of the doors for her, “I’ll be across the hall, my room’ll have the door open, if you need me. My brother’s room is the one with his door closed, probably best if you ignore that. And don’t peak into rooms with closed doors, other than mine,” He added. No need for her to find Crowley.
Nodding, Sela sluggishly slid inside where she had been directed, pushing the door closed; she left a little crack for the light. The first thing she did was tug off her jacket, and then her shirt. The filthy clothes fell to the ground, followed by shoes among other things. With just a tee and a few other things left, she climbed in to the bed.
Hours later, she still wasn't asleep. Mud had dried out on her skin, and it kept itching. She had to get rid of it soon, and as far as she knew that meant a shower. Sela grabbed her sheet, wrapping it around her as she started for the hall. She really didn't want to disturb Dean, and in nothing more than a sheet. There would be no decency or dignity. Â So, instead Sela poked her head in to the first cracked door. Luckily, it was exactly what she needed.Â

Lights || prohevefilidevium
Dean looked toward her as she spoke, smiling slightly, knowing that she probably couldn’t see much yet. He took the key from his pocket as he led her to the door, pushing it open and walking in, closing and locking the door carefully behind them, breathing out once he arrived. Home.
He looked toward her carefully, “I can lead you back to a bedroom or something where you can stay, if you’d like,” He said. He also had to check on his little brother, and then make sure that nothing was going on where Crowley was. Great. This was his life. he sighed, forcing a smile toward her.
She looked around, almost amazed at what she was seeing. This wasn't what Selaphiel had expected at all. At most, maybe a motel or something. This wasn't a hotel. She could get used to staying in here for a few days. Of course, she couldn't stay here forever.
Sela gave a groggy smile back. "That would be nice. Thank you."
Lights || prohevefilidevium
Dean looked at her as she spoke up and breathed out, glad that she had woken up. He didn’t know how she would respond to being moved into the house and waking up somewhere new and uncomfortable. he nodded his head, “Yeah, this is it,” he said, offering her a hand to help her into the bunker.
So much for finding Cas that night. But he couldn’t have just left her on the road, not with the whole world seeming to crumble around them.
She looked around, nodding. There wasn't much to look out. Actually, even with squinting her eyes, she couldn't see anything. "It's nice." Sela took his hand, sloppily walking along. Her feet scuffled along the ground, letting his hand guide her.Â
She needed more sleep, but the chances of her getting it were very slim. Selaphiel would probably end up pacing or walking around. That wasn't a good idea though. She shouldn't be snooping around when she actually had a place to stay for now.Â
