We don’t, no.  These days all formal whippings are given only when a slave has been convicted of an offence under the Slave Penal Code.

Have said that, any Overseer - or any free person, for that matter - is authorised to give a relatively mild spanking to any slave at any time.   Indeed, we actively encourage this.   It’s good for the slaves to understand they are expected to obey instantly and fully an order from any free person.   And there will be painful and humiliating consequences for them if they don’t.   It’s also good to see my free guests exercising their natural authority over a naked slave.

I can’t think of any, not recently anyway.   They all know what is expected and, even tearfully, thank their punisher.   Were they to fail to do so, they would receive extra strokes of the cane to teach them their manners and would be required to thank their punisher after that.

Oh yes.   While some slaves will undoubtedly have a masochistic streak, and many more ‘enjoy’ humiliation, there aren’t very many in my experience as a Master (going back nearly thirty years now) who actively gain pleasure from a firmly applied caning across their bare rumps.

For the vast majority of slaves a Public Whipping is a terrifying and painful experience.   Some have cried and also begged for mercy.   Once they are in the Punishment Room and strapped over the whipping frame it is far too late for that, of course.   We encourage them to take their punishment stoically.   But not all can.

The Rocket deal was very much an experiment.   A one-off (so far).  It was leased to very good friends of mine, whom I knew I could trust both to look after it well and to honour the terms of the leasing contract.   Trust is a key element of my world.

Sorry about the delay in posting. You must be getting used to this by now.   Two reasons -

Joe knocked the encrypted hard drive off the desk in my study and now I cannot access it.   This has been a problem as it contained log-in details for this blog as well as much other recent data relating both to the BlueStar Plantation and HULOA.   Happily Michael (my partner) had a copy of the log-in details for here, which he has just found.   The damaged hard drive is now in the hands of a technical expert friend of mine to see if anything can be rescued, but frankly I am not hopeful.

We are in the middle of ES2018, which draws to a close this weekend.   The final of the 2018 Davis Cup is this afternoon and we are all looking forward to an excellent race over a course new for this year.   The weather should be fine and the going nice and firm, which always helps for a fast time.

Far be it from me to presume!   Each owner is different and what is possible depends on resources and time, of course.   I am *very* lucky owning a farm, as that gives me the space to create and run a ‘slave society’ as I want it to be.   I had fancy ideas about having slaves on the farm 24/7 at one time, but those thoughts soon flew out of the window when I realised how much work was involved in doing this properly.   I also realised I would need help, and finding people with the same mindset is not always easy.

My advice, for what it’s worth, would be to start small, with one or two slaves and see how you get on.   And it’s always useful to know others who share your interest too, if only to get tips and support.   There are more doms and subs out there than many in the vanilla world would even think.

Take your time, is the best advice.   Don’t expect a new slave to behave exactly as you would want from day one.   We reckon it takes around six months - dependent of the slave, of course - to get a new buck/bitch up to scratch.

We have a very particular view of slavery here, some would say quite harsh, and it is not for everyone, of course.   That is why we take particular care when recruiting to make sure we acquire only those new slaves with the potential to serve here fully.   A visceral desire to serve is *the* most important characteristic we seek in a new slave, regardless of age or gender.   With that, we can train it.   Without it, it would have no place with us.

I don’t have space or time to go into detail here (sorry!), but one key facet of our BlueStar Plantation training is to ‘dehumanise’ a slave to the greatest extent possible.   Our aim is to have them obey instinctively and immediately, without thinking, every order given by any free person.   That is why key elements of our training include teaching new slaves to urinate and defecate like dogs (distasteful to many, I’m sure, but if you can get a new slave to do this without question, you *know* you have gone some considerable way to breaking it in), and - eventually - to mate in public without any hint of shame or embarrassment (two feelings restricted to those in the free world in our view).

A ‘good boy’ squatting to do its business.   Most people would understandably find this abhorrent.   But if you can train a slave to perform like this, like an animal, without shame, as if it is the most natural thing in the world to do in front of its master/mistress or any free person, you know you are well on the way to owning it body and mind.

I’d certainly ‘consider’ it.   Were chattel slavery legal I’d have no moral or other qualms whatsoever about selling and buying human livestock.   I do this with my cows and pigs anyway, and dealing in slaves would be no different to me.

I have actually ‘leased’ a buck to a friend of mine.   That was quite something: leasing contract, etc.   And the slave in question was returned to me at the end of the lease period.   But - as our slaves are all ‘volunteers’ - this was in essence done with the slave’s tacit consent, although we never actively discussed the matter with it.

Slaves work outdoors come rain, shine or even snow.   We make no special allowances for weather conditions.   We certainly don’t apply sun screen!
