I know people are watching while I rebuild.
Not everyone will understand your journey, and that is fine. People often form conclusions from fragments of a story they were never meant to fully understand. I used to spend energy trying to be understood, but I have found more peace in simply walking my path with integrity.
What I know is this: no person has authority over what God is doing in my life. My responsibility is not to carry division, conflict, or unnecessary burdens. My responsibility is to walk faithfully in the direction He has called me.
Peace can be unsettling in a world that has grown accustomed to turmoil. True peace does not come from controlling what others think. It comes from trusting God enough to leave things in His hands.
I understand that many people are fighting battles they cannot see. Bitterness, resentment, and offense can quietly shape the way we see ourselves and others, but those chains often harm the person carrying them more than anyone else.
No matter who you are, only you have the choice to heal and find peace. Ask yourself this: is it right to hurt others and yourself with all that bitterness when it gets you nowhere but keeps you trapped? Hebrews 12:15 warns us: "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many."
There is wisdom in that verse. Bitterness rarely brings peace. Division rarely produces healing. We are all better served by renewing our minds, guarding our hearts, extending grace, and allowing God to work in His timing.
As Psalm 37:32 says: "The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him." Yet I take comfort in knowing that the Lion of Judah watches over His own.
I refuse to operate from hatred, accusation, or revenge. Those things belong to a kingdom I no longer serve. Instead, I choose prayer, worship, intercession, and obedience.
Every obstacle is a testimony in the making, turning hardship into wisdom and refining me through every difficult season.
My life belongs to the Most High. I refuse bitterness because it is an invitation to the very darkness I have been called to overcome. The love of many may grow cold, but my desire is to keep my heart aligned with Christ.
Jesus was misunderstood, mocked, and opposed, yet He never abandoned His purpose. He continued walking in truth, grace, and obedience. I intend to do the same.
To anyone carrying hurt, anger, or disappointment, I sincerely pray that you find healing, freedom, and peace.
As for me, I hold no hatred. I choose forgiveness. I choose faith. I choose to keep moving forward.
