i have a group project thing going on (groups of three that we didn’t get to choose) and like a stupid fucking coward i said “i don’t know” when our teacher asked whether i felt like i had too much responsibility on my shoulders.

ok so idk if you care lmao but update i sort of kind of crashed out at them over text yesterday and today they staged an intervention wanted to talk but honestly it was really pathetic and all they did was yap but one of them went “you were really mean today” and like someone with good sense and dignity, i fucking apologized 😭 (i meant everything i said, idk why i said sorry because i know they don’t deserve it)

yep, i've had a similar thing happen before! the moment you set boundaries, they get upset and have to set up this talk where they essentially gang up on you and force an apology. even if you did apologise for "being mean" that doesnt mean you should let them continue to overstep!!! stay solid and firm, and you ARE the good person for aplogising when being blunt/crashing out!!!!!
