I think translating 'perfect flowers' into your plant cookies is a super cool idea! I really love fictional species having their own unique biology and anatomy.

If you're looking for a more botany-oriented term, I've heard "monoecious" - it literally means "a plant with both 'male' and 'female' reproductive organs" :D! If you're looking for a less botany-oriented term, cosexual is "an organism that can reproduce as both male and female," or gonosimulistic (coined to be a replacement for the h slur) is "a species in which all organisms naturally produce both male and female gametes!" Or you could always make up one - it's your species!

Also, I'm really really curious - are all Plant Cookies 'perfect' flowers, or does it depend on the individual cookie? :0 because there's actually a LOT of really cool reproductive diversity in plants! Some plants are monoecious, and some are dioecious (a species with distinct 'male' and 'female' individuals/categories), some are actually dichogamous, meaning that as they develop they will shift from producing one gamete to producing another - a few species are even synchronously dichogamous, meaning that the entire species will follow the same time/cycle to shift from one gamete to another!!

Sorry for rambling, I really love talking about all the beautiful reproductive diversity that comes from plants! There's actually a few variations in plants that could likely be considered intersex by plant standards, but it's quite difficult to research because of the confusion with the term intersex!!

As for your question, It depends! I had to do a lot of individual research on different plant species and because of the different plants the cookies themselves are based on. Herb is a “perfect flower” like most Venus flytraps (monoecious) but identifies as a trans woman. Spinach would fall into the category of diocious (Spinach plants are either male or female) and identifies as a cis woman. It honestly depends on their preference and what they choose to label themselves as. Hydrangea comes to mind (also monoecious!) as in my head she doesn’t identify with any label.
