2 October 2025 | Passed my NCLEX a year ago, got hired straight into ICU, immediately got TNCC, PALS, ACLS & almost finished up with my BSN. I feel like the more I learn the less I know, anyone else?

The atria pump blood into the ventricles, the valves between the atria & ventricles close to prevent backflow. The “lub” (aka S1) is the sound of these valves closing. When the ventricles contract to pump blood away from the heart, the aortic & pulmonary valves close making the “dub” sound (aka S2). 🫀

I prefer to study alone but something about “passing” on a study group makes me feel guilty. (๑⚈ _⚈๑)
