this isn't the dream i know [ pandora open ]
After some time, Tahno had decided that sitting around doing nothing wouldnāt help him in the slightest. No one had answered him when he called out ā maybe he had imagined the footsteps that heād heard? It was a possibility; he was so distressed and so set on finding someone, anyone around here .. .. maybe heād imagined it. A source of false hope that, really, hadnāt done him any good in the long run.
Another groan escapes his lips before he looks around him. There seemed to be many different concrete paths that he could take, all looking similar in one way or another. Maybe if he walked around long enough, he would find someone. It was worth a shot; after all, what else did he have to lose? In the end, the ex-captain chose simply to walk straight, choosing to walk the concrete path that lay just ahead of him. And yet, he still found nothing. As he walked by the looming buildings of the city, he found that the lights in most of them were on ā something that usually signaled people in the area. He could try to go into one of the buildings if he wanted to, but .. .. ā
āā¦excuse me, but it looks like iām lost. ..could you help me find my way out of this town? ā
.. Thereās a tap on Tahnoās shoulder just then, and the man tenses ever so slightly at the touch before he hears the voice. When he does hear the words, however, he relaxes; the voice was that of a woman, and from the looks of it, she was in the same boat that he was. She was lost here, too .. and for all he knew, sheād gotten here the same way as he did. āIād love to, but I canāt, unfortunately.ā Shrugging her hand off of his shoulder, the ex-waterbender turns to face his inquirer ā ridding himself of the nervous expression that he wore prior to facing her and replacing it with a half-smirk. āIām in the same boat as you are; I only just found myself here, and I canāt seem to find how I got here to begin with, much less the way out.ā
She could feel it. The man stiffening under her fingers as she touched his shoulder. That wasn't quite the reaction she had expected, especially from someone taller than her. She had to admit that if she had met this figure in the dark he would look quite menacing. Taking a step back when he hand is shrugged away, Chizuru glanced up at the male, tipping her head to one side as he turned to her. The faint traces of a nervous frown disappeared from his lips but she had seen those smiles before. She'd worn many of them when trying to impress herself in the mirror....
āIām in the same boat as you are; I only just found myself here, and I canāt seem to find how I got here to begin with, much less the way out.ā
How annoying. So she couldn't get back to Leon....? There had to be a way for her to return to Japan. If not...well, then what was she supposed to do? She had become Leon's vessel to disappear and now it seemed some divine force was truly out to stop that dream. Chizuru sighed softly, hand dropping over her other to toy with her bracelet.
"I see. It sounds like quite an annoying mess we've been dragged into then, hm?" Chizuru said, glancing up at the male. Her words surprised her, as normally she would hav only thought of herself. Perhaps Tachibana had finally rubbed off on her.... No. Chizuru mentally shook the thought away. There was no need for an empty vessel to care about anyone but themselves and their masters. Her best now was to get answers...anything to help her escape from his prison.
"Do you know why we've been confined here anyway?"
