So for reverts in the closet, it can be kinda tough to get suhoor. Getting up at 4am to cook is a bit suspicious.

And for Muslims in general, sometimes just just don’t have the time or energy to cook.

So?

Protein bites!!!!

These little guys taste like cookie dough, but are all natural, and fill you up like nothing else. One the size of a golf ball kept me full for 13hrs.

How do you make them?

1. Mix plain oatmeal and vanilla protein powder together in a bowl. 2. Add peanut butter and honey until it is the right consistency to be rolled into balls. 3. Add mix-ins! Chocolate chips, sunflower seeds, peanuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds, raisins, whatever you want! 4. Roll into balls the size of golf balls, put on a cookie sheet, and chill. Or toss into a bag and keep them hidden in a dresser drawer, if you’re like me and in hiding 😂😂😂

Seriously, these little guys are life savers. Pair with a piece of fruit (especially something high in water like strawberries or watermelon!) and a nice big bottle of water, and you’ve got a quick and easy suhoor.

No time is no excuse to miss suhoor. Not only is it Sunnah, but a blessing!!! Missing suhoor is a sure way to have a pretty miserable fasting day. So make some of these ahead of time to ensure you don’t get caught in a situation where you can’t take suhoor.
