Cody: It’s an entirely unearned compliment. He completely lacks the emotional gravitas for literally EVERY song Shrek has to himself and he’s built so wrong for it. Roger from Rent is too nice too, maybe Buck Barrow or Connor Murphy or Amos Hart are the best for another time? Sorry not sorry! Sondheim really knows how to write em. 😌 I can’t decide which is sadder??? Everything should be but like just musicals, truly a fate worse than death. We can and have. I don’t know how to teach it? It’s just what happens when you trust someone for almost as long as you’ve been alive!

Cody: Omg what roles did you say you'd like to see him in? If it was Jud in Oklahoma then you certainly deserve to be cursed. Just because he's a gross greasy looking blonde like Patrick Vail from the revival doesn't mean he'd do a good job. Him performing lonely room would be much more insufferable than it's supposed to be. I'm not! I just did such a lovely rendition of Greenfinch and Linnet Bird and not only was it spectacular but I still love Sondheim. I really didn't. I moreso moved past it to talk about my boyfriend, but whatever make you happy works for me. He didn't. Dawson and I are a very evolved couple and don't do jealousy. As hot as it may have been to you, he knows that it doesn't touch the intensity of when he and I are *actually* together so he has no reason to feel threatened.

Cody: OOh maybe? What'd you do to him! You didn't get the rest of the drama club cursed did you? I didn't say that, did I? But anyway, if Dawson was ever going to get jealous, I think the guy that got to dry hump me on stage is more likely a target than a dead person who's funeral I'd be singing at.

Cody: Wow, I don't even know what to say to that. Ugh. Maybe you got cursed or something? Okay, but you're not cuter than Dawson and that's what matters.

Cody: THAT'S NOT ENOUGH! Please as if you'd make Dawson jealous. After all the times I had to go over the hayloft scene with Mateo last spring, it's pretty safe to say for certain that he'll never get jealous when it comes to my art.

Cody: YOU DO NOW! Once you say you kind of hate either of the Mama Mias all taste credit is immediately revoked, soz I don't make the rules. FIND someone to sing I'll Cover You? Excuse me? Are me and my exemplary vibrato chopped liver to you now?

Cody: No! It's just you having bad taste, it's not an AA meeting! If disrespecting Cher is the first sign of a brain tumor, I think you're done for :( rip

Cody:....I feel like I should block you for my own personal safety? What if your newfound poor taste is contagious?

Cody: You’re dating Colton now? Interesting! Well me and Dawson have been together for most of our lives and therefore don’t exactly have the most conventional date nights and I don’t exactly know what kind of activities people in new relationships should be doing? But I can tell you that the key to any good date activity is to just combine anything the two of you like and make an event out of it! Colton’s a performer too right? Try Karaoke or an open mic night!

Cody: Well hello to you too, Emery. To what do I owe the honor of such a completely normal and not at all invasive query?

Cody: I figured, occasionally I can’t help but find less than polite Quincy incredibly compelling so I’ll definitely keep that in mind for next time though. Maybe. It’s not that! In my experience the depravity is typically reserved for cast parties, not watch parties. Watch parties are more sing-a-long affairs. (I’d bet) That sounds interesting but definitely not going to happen. Besides, if it was going to be any song, Time Warp is fairly low on the list.
