I made significant progress on this track

*in your wandering by the Meinroahs Cliffs, you have found very little in the way of treasure your fortune promised. a storm is rumbling overhead, likely minutes if not seconds from raining, and you see... something. a stairway at the edge of the cliff. a path, clearly intentionally placed. down the steps, the path turns sharply into the rock, an artificial hole bored into the earth. as you inspect it, the first drops of rain begin to land around you- the entry way looks like it could be a dungeon, holding treasure- or at the very least a shelter from the rain.*

*What do you do?*

[After a lengthy "jogging" session, Cheyene glances behind her, a revolver in hand.]

'I can't let the rain jeopardize my mission,' (I ponder, weighing my options between the rain and the suspicious tunnel).

'But staying outside in this weather is also life-threatening.'

*Upon hearing a faint snap of a twig, I twitch my ears and rushed straight into the tunnel, hoping that my hooves don't echo loud enough for my pursuers to follow*

Ok, I'm in the clear for now. But I don't intend to leave just yet, (I say as I turn around).

*I re-read the plaque*

*the question reads: which species of Eyeweed has the lowest Mutativity?*

*I place a hand on my chin*

Ok, Calamita sounds similar to Calamity...that doesn't tell me much but my guess is that might be impervious to mutations. But Remanatia could be a play on "remnant"...that doesn't sound right...

*luckily your gun wasn't transformed for some reason, but.... that was weird.*

*you find yourself in another open-air room, similar to the last.*

*the quesiton reads "the Ferrellforged wars were between which countries?"*

Ok...I am out of my depth here, (I say, checking to see if my body is squishy or hard).

But I must press forward.

wait. All three countries are listed...I hate guessing (I say with a deep sigh).

*as soon as you go through the door. something happens. a pain forms in your butt as you feel a tail growing.*

*in the moment it takes for you to look, it's grown out at least 3 meters, a long and sinuous stretch of green, viney but covered in sharp thorns beyond the first 6 inches. it moves with your emotion and reacts to your surprise, the thorns bristling and the tip spike unfolding.*

...what the HELL did this TUNNEL DO TO ME!?!?

(ooc: it's so bad, that I'm starting to feel it.)

*I whip the ground with my new tail In exasperation, trying to engulf it in a flame using my regular tails*

*I stamp out the fire from my new tail*

*I then take a long moment to ponder*

I've fallen for a tourist trap.

A thin layer of lead wouldn't help to prevent many things, but scrying is supposedly a magic spell that allows one to see through buildings to spy on targets from afar...

so a relatively thick layer should do the trick?

As far as assumptions go, druidstone appears to be the most likely solution.

Manon sounds close to “mana,” which I believe is a form of internal magic of one’s soul.

“Omnivonous” seems to be a play on the word “omnivorous,” which refers to animals that will both plants and animals. Varegelith is the least likely to have any correlation with “mana”.
