Next in line: working on a project for an exhibition in my hometown, Ravenna (Italy), dedicated to the face of the Sommo Poeta Dante Alighieri. Did you know #Dante wrote his Divina Commedia in Ravenna? He also died in here and his tomb is in Ravenna as well, since he was exiled from Florence, but then they wanted his remains back and, in the past, they tried to steal it but we always managed to find a way to fool those suckers. I taught toy making to a class of kids, and it was great. They were seriously interested, every one of them managed to create a body part, which we later assembled in a single mutated para-alien monster. Then moulded and cast 10 complete pieces, one for each kid, to be hand painted. Here are the results. Funny note: the alien turned out to look a bit like ET, from the all-time Maestro Carlo Rambaldi. Very cool experience, thanks to @magazzenoartgallery (at Magazzeno Art Gallery)
