i will say, the worst thing that happened in fandom was when shipping just became “i ship this bc it’s gonna be real” and not just “i ship this bc i think it’s a fun dynamic to explore idc what the writers are doing that’s not my business”

“i ship it because it would be funny, like c’mon lets see how long it takes before they either kill each other or everyone else”

I hope every writer who sees this writes LOADS the next few months. Like freetime opens up, no writers block, the ability to focus, etc etc you're able to write loads & make lots of progress <3

i fear a lot of ppl confuse “was this character’s death well written and good for the story” with “did i like it, personally”

when i see takes like “there’s no good reason to kill a character” i’m like fair dues they should’ve just had mufasa comedically stuck in an elevator for the second and third acts of the lion king

listening to wtnv in 2024 makes me understand immediately why tumblr over a decade ago thought this shit was the coolest thing ever. it casually but flawlessly parodies the us surveillance state, ultra-militarized police forces, inane human resource bureaucracies and the blasé of the suburban middle class all within the span of three episodes with a very tongue in cheek slice of life format that doesn’t sound possible on paper but is executed absolutely absurdly well
