frisk and frys are two characters i made for my last kids book, originally made for my niece back in 2023 !!!

so obviously my little nephew deserved a book of his own ☀️‼️ this time focusing on the little garden fairy, marie, and her little brother, marius c:

gosh i have no clue when this was asked aaaah!! but just as a general thing; yea! :o) i rarely do commissions these days due to uni, so my comm prices aren’t too visible hahah

but if you were to request a reference sheet commission, i’d usually charge 80 usd for it (dependent on if anything needs changing, number of accessories, etc.) ☀️ and if it’s a total redesign, it would probably be a bit more than that!

the design choice mostly came about by accident, as i tried to make a leg design work, but the concept just didn't work out with the drawing i had in mind <//3 so it became arms instead!

but ever since then i've really been itching to do a human design with the leg amputations instead, so i might try to workshop that in the future :o) bc it felt like a bit of a cop-out even back then LOL i just wasn't confident enough in translating her pony disability properly :-(

but i'm so glad you asked, because her design is something i've been slowly adapting for yeaaarrrs atp!! she's going to be 10 yrs old next year, so her design is very much a testament on my own developing art abilities and knowledge on making disability aids - however, i'm still very much learning though, let that be clear! ★★

omg yes hi!!! i tried drawing a comic on this YEARS ago (might give it another shot soon), but i’d always envisioned them meeting as kids 💛☀️

a quick rundown though:

princess wannabe has been a fangirl for the princesses of equestria her whole life, so when all three (pre-twi) announced they were visiting wannabe’s hometown!! she was ecstatic!! but the town plaza was filled to the point, where she had to climb up onto the town walls with a shakey tower of boxes in order to see them TT

As the princesses took the stage, wannabe’s excitement shook the boxes too much, resulting in her FALLING DOWN ONTO AN UNSUSPECTING COLT ON THE ROAD BELOW! … that colt being little joyful heartbeat 🩷

she apologized profusely, he asked concerned abt her plan with the wall, and after a longer conversation discussing her admiration for royal family, joyful really wanted to help her out :-((
