hi !! lovee this question,, lemme rant for a min..

personally i find smut so challenging. with angst, i can visualize everything- the inner storm, the outer expression, little habits of my characters, how they cope, how their toxic traits may show, i can include psychology (psych major !!) and its soo much easier for me to get into the flow of complexities, to find different metaphors for the emotional state of someone and their little world. theres a million different things that make people tick, that trigger, etc etc.

Also, I love some of the anons ideas ! omg, i could kiss yall brains. i hope you consider some of the suggestions for a future story ! and i, this come off rude, i hate seeing talented authors doubt themselves abt if they can write a trope or a story like DUH YOU CAN !!! WE'VE READ YOUR STUFF AND KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER. GIVE YOURSELF SOME GRACE AND PUT SOME RESPECT ON YOUR OWN NAME NEOW ☝️
