I have personally experienced how doctors ignore symptoms in black women. I have almost potentially died Several times because a doctor ignored symptoms. I can see how it happens. Be safe out here. Be vigilant about your medical care. Demand better

I didn’t need to see this in my mental state rn but it’s very true. They don’t listen to us. They don’t help us. I wish I could find a god doctor who actually cares, I wish we all could.

We need better black doctors, because I definitely spazzed on a black female doctor for trying to rush my husband when he was trying to explain his chest pains.

As soon as I read the details of what happened I immediately thought about how the doctor didn’t tell her to go to the E.R or come see her. She was sick for a week or so and expressed to them that she wasn’t feeling any better. How could that not been a warning sign that something terrible wrong was about to happen. You’re a medical professional and ignored the biggest sign.
