The end of summer is approaching and back-to-school is right around the corner. Â Parents will soon begin to send their kids off to college. Â Most Dorm Rooms should be in the final stage of being complete.
1. The dorm room should be stocked with the basic essentials for your child to survive his or her first semester.
2. The dorm room should be decorated to showcase your child’s personality.
Now if you are a parent like me, who would buy their kids’ school shoes the night before the first day of school.  You may still need some advice and a checklist of what your son or daughter may need for their home away from home.  My husband and I are fortunate or maybe not so fortunate (still have large grocery bills), to have both our sons commute to local universities here in Maryland.  But, as a mom and decorating guru, I missed out on all the fun of shopping and decorating a dorm room.  So to fill that void in my life, I enjoy viewing my friends’ and family’s photos of their children’s dorm rooms.  I hope the following Dorm Room photos will inspire you and your child to have fun with decorating a comfortable, warm and stylish home away from home.  Mom, it will be ok!
The below dorm room is very eclectic, bohemian and oh sooo chic…Great Job Piper!!!
