If we read each scene right and what each member explained:

Jhope wasn’t leaving Jimin, he fell asleep walking down the stairs of the institution and Jimin saved him from falling (due to his Narcolepsy).

The guys DID visited and saved Jimin from the institution

(I love the little bit where it’s Jhope who’s sneaking him out. Maybe as a thank you for helping him while in the institution himself..

Jhope then arrived just in time to stop Taehyung before he could kill his father and eventually get arrested (as what happened in Stigma).

Jin saved RM in the gas station.

On this version/turn of events, Jungkook doesn’t get beat up, jump off the roof or even get in a car accident. Instead goes back to Yoongi after the fight just in time to save him from the fire.

The THREE parts that still kept me intrigued:

1) When Jimin explains in the beginning that “on this version” unlike ‘I NEED U’/’Prologue’, Jin is the one that goes up the tower where in the original scene it would have been Tae. And Tae “looks up at him with suspicion”. Why with suspicion? Does Tae know something? Is he the only one who noticed that “everything is different now”? Does he know that Jin is the one trying again and again to save them/give them a better life?

2) What was that little snippet of Jungkook “falling”/”jumping”? Is he reenacting what was written in the Notes/Diaries about his character going up to the rooftop after his & Yoongi’s fight with the intention of killing himself? And if so, could that one theory about JK being in  a coma and imagining this “perfect utopia” of his friends turning their life around and living in harmony be true?

Or is this how “Fake Love” started afterwards, with JK stumbling into the Magic Shop and that’s why at first he looks around confused. And unlike the others he doesn’t have to give up anything, but still receives a Key (because he already gave up his Life). And so the Fake Love mv is JK trapped in this alternative reality where he’s shadowing Jin as he tries to save the others, but each time he fails (the scene with the explosion & the Smeraldo flower turning to dust/sand) he just sacrifices the others.

3) Did Jin gave up trying to save everyone and Jungkook is now the one who has to try to keep everyone safe? Then the key in “Fake Love” is symbolic for “passing the baton/responsibility from the eldest to youngest. Is that why it appeared as if Jin himself turned to sand/dust in FL when Jungkook finally finds the lantern.
