E.g. rejected by Taro (he's not going to fall in love with her just because all rivals are eliminated, realistically speaking) & is about to snap

And maybe she snaps, but doesn't go on a killing spree, but instead destroys her surrondings somewhere secluded

Has a MAJOR breakdown

And Borupen, who has an art block just accidentally encounters her

And sees this mad woman bashing her head against the wall & is like

"Damn....that's such raw display of anger. Despair, anguish, the ultimate realisation that the world is an unfair madhouse, full of backstabbers and mindless obedient sheeps. She is the embodiment of hate, so fascinating"

And then he probably takes a photo of her to use as a reference. Ends up pulling an all nighter and finishing a piece. Yet he craves more

So he probably leaves a note in her locker asking to meet him. When they meet, explains how he saw her that day

She thinks "shit, he is a witness, I have to dispose of him as soon as possible. Can't let my image be ruined at least"

And then he says how much inspirational this encounter was for him, speaking about her with such admiration

And Ayano is like "bitch wtf, I am not your fantasy"

Yet he persists & suggests to paint her more

She thinks, that he is stupid and insane. He knows, so he decides to blackmail her into participating, since she seems to be the only suitable muse & an only way out of art block (he is spiteful after all, that wouldn't be too far for him)

She wants to end him badly, yet he chose a place too crowded so she can't right now

Relucantly she agrees, while planning on how to kill him later

And from their garden full of thorns, slowly love will blossom and burn

This ship has fueled me so much, I actually have a Boruyano future fic in the works where they adopt a kid together. But Taro is still there.

Borupen should've been her Senpai sighhh.

I like to think that at first Borupen only sees Ayano as a muse, so he obsessively draws her. Eventually they start dating, but it feels more like Borupen is in a relationship with his passion, art.

Ayano agrees to date him to get over Taro at first, and because she feels curious about him. He was first person other than her mother to accept her, but that was because Ryoba went through the same thing. Borupen never went through anything like what Ayano went through or seen anyone like her, so she's wondering how anyone could accept her.
