I think the Ospreay and Death Rider stuff is very interesting right now. We know Mox was supposed to face Callum Neuman at Forbidden Door in some sort of custody of Will Ospreay match for the continental championship - however due to injury it became Bandido v Mox. It’s very likely that NJPW will probably be the ones to continue this aspect of the story as the Death Riders have a lot of business in NJPW right now even outside of UE.

Anyway, the AEW side of this story is incredibly interesting. Despite still being his goofy self, we know the path he is walking is dark. The green (or the colour, as he didn’t really wear pink for the Owen Final) is slowly being taken away from his gear. His jackets don’t have the feathers anymore. People who we associate with him have all been calling him out. The aforementioned Callum Neuman did this in the forbidden door build (by calling him a Death Rider, but again, his injury prevented the payoff), and Kenny Omega is rightfully horrified that this is happening. Even if it is happening at his own fault of not being there for Ospreay at his lowest. The shades of Omega’s own feud against Moxley seeping through and making Ospreay unrecognisable to him.

We know these two are on a path to clash at some point, as it’s been briefly mentioned that Omega is after the Men’s World Championship again. Who gets to MJF first is now is the question, because this story only ends when Omega and Ospreay face in the ring.

And even besides this, we have a wrestler haunting the narrative in Hangman. Like where is he? Both Ospreay and Swerve busted out his moves in their final. Hangman also has the Cody Stipulation going on. Does Hangman return as a heel against Ospreay to challenge? Or does Ospreay fully embrace the Death Riders, so when Hangman returns he can’t do anything but watch (until he throws it away because someone has to save Ospreay from himself? And who better than the man who saved AEW from the Death Riders the first time.)
