It seems I cannot stop with Valdems!! I starting to be really comfortable drawing them, and I can only hope it shows!

Sorry to tag a lot, I never know if tagging people is annoying or not, but I hope it brings credit to the people that deserve it. :D In any case, I have way too many Cas thoughts floating in my brain, I keep imagining cute comic ideas with her, and the second I go to draw it I forget! TmT Very tragic!! It’s always a bit of a struggle trying to draw her, and I think I just put a lot of pressure on myself to draw her well. So, I tried to just get some art of her out where I start figuring out how I want to go about drawing her every time, finding what shapes to start her base and how to get just the right amount of flow to her beautiful grey hair. (I am such a sucker for women with grey hair, I know she hates it… but it is so beautiful!! TwT) I think when I draw Cas next I will try and do something with Astronomy for her.
(I actually was going to draw Castor looking out at the night sky reading an Astronomy book in bed, but I think I was a bit too ambitious at first, especially since this was before I figured out how I wanted to keep drawing her face! Here is the plain, little sketch I started with though!)
I feel this little sketch pack was a long time coming! I thinking having this outlet of drawing in my final semester of Uni has really motivated me and grounded me, even if I don’t post frequently. I was actually in and out of the hospital and missing class a couple weeks ago, I was pretty stressed and scared because of more health issues, but seeing everyone continue to like my posts always brings me joy! Everyone continues to be kind, so for that I am very appreciative! <3

Thank you so much nicadilly for letting me draw Cas! I must have redrawn so many sketches with her cause I really wanted it to look good! It was probably the best drawing practice I had in a while. I gotta say your fanart was the art that made me tilt my head at Valdemar and go “huh” and then become obsessed with them! Funnily enough, when the game came out when I was in middle school, I used to hate Valdemar with a passion! Over time I started to really like the courtiers, and then I found your art a year or so ago and was just… woah… “ówò Naturally Cas starting wiggling around in my brain too and I really wanted to draw her!! I know the clothes don’t look very good, I am sorry about that, but hopefully I will get better at those with practice. There is also a little Valdemar x mc art for any other mcs that come along, featuring a freshly bathed squeaky-clean-demar! I would like to keep drawing Cas, if that’s alright, whenever I have more time to draw!
I’ll be pretty busy for a bit, I’ve got classes, work, a TA position, I’m graduating, and I’m doing research with my professor in the lab… so like… I’m slammed! But I will make it one way or another and doodle when I can. Biology is hard, but if I just imagine Valdems studying… and doing research… and being best evil doctor ever… it makes life a lot easier… TwT
